This seems to be abuzz for a couple of days in Japan, it seems. I've gotta say I was barely aware of this till I saw some tweets from a Japanese Twitter user.
Like with many that rant against fictional characters, They always tend to be closeted pedophiles or sexual predators themselves. You kinda get the idea that people that rant and virtue signal against fictional characters and proclaim it being sexist or problematic tend to try and divert attention away from themselves. They think that with hit pieces again anime, or anything with a sexual nature will make them seem more trustworthy and honest while mostly being empty and shallow trying to make a profile that will make them seem less suspicious of being that which they accuse other of being.
Seems the hypocritical nature of people that complain about fictional characters always gets exposed.
