I believe it is without a doubt in the best interest of social media organizations to not only allow minors on their platform but facilitate their integration. Given how both malleable and gullible kids are, not only is it easy to extract information from them (which is effectively a modern day commodity) but they also can be guided towards mindsets deemed more desirable by the shadowy figures at play.
