Yup, no problem mate. My dad once told me this story one time about his trip in Japan, he asked a Japanese for direction in English but that person didn't know how to respond so he literally walked/accompanied my dad to that place. Legit proof about the kindness of your people there.

Hi Misato. From your perspective, is it okay to learn romaji for conversational purpose only? For example, if I get lost in Japan then knowing a few basic phrases is probably enough right?
