There's a crowdfunding campaign for a 90s throwback original animation called Constancy Roa, taking heavy inspiration from the likes of Bubblegum Crisis.

I was shared a link to this crowdfunding campaign by someone who's actually working on it, so I figured I'll put it out there for anyone who's interested in the 90s anime aesthetic. I haven't pledged any money but I am impressed with the character designs.

Yeah, we're all hurting, sadly. I'm also pretty worried if they'll reach their funding goal.

Seeing as even regular animation easily costs 200K per 24 minutes I wonder what they want to create with 120K.
Interesting if it gets traction, but it's a hard thing to sell. I think some sort of pilot would've helped more to gauge interest than clips and trailers.

I mean I don't know what else could they get. Japanese VA arent exactly easy to get and I'd argue that this project is already quite big without trying to get them

This is for better or worse a "noname" project from the west. That however means that it would be shrugged of by almost 100% of all seyuus.
Also I don't want to put any VA down (despite how cringe a lot of them are), but English speaking VAs are far more desperate when it comes to jobs and thus are cheaper. If you don't belong to one of the big gangs, then you are a "who?". Also it doesn't help that everyone can get a solid mic setup for <40$ and work for pennies / free to build a track record instead of charging upwards of ~100$ per sentence.

Ones with an agency, yeah it will be ignored.
But was there no thought given to indie seiyuu? You see some of them start in those cheap rpg maker eroge on dlsite.
I do want to put VAs down, especially american ones, they're all woke with retarded she/they pronouns. These cunts should be kept far away from anything anti woke people want to build.

The designs are good, really like that egyptian girl but the animation, not impressed (It's like those 90s hentai game animations such as super real mahjong). Most of the animation is coming from the hair. I need to see some newer, better animation to consider this.

Another option InfinityArk should consider is cutting back on his plans, just make a comic but animate select fanservice moments for each girl to cut back on what needs to animated.
