I would call myself socially conservative and a lot of porn I’d like banned but this is fucking clownish. Reminder that there are actual Child porn websites on the clearnet, I don’t mean lolicon or anything trivial I mean you can go on a website on the clearnet at look at real little girls. But no the fucking jap comics and cartoons are what gets searched like fucking drugs

The Review of Australian classification regulation (the Stevens Review) is done and it's not looking good for anime thanks to SA's fat cunt Griff Stirling and some slags at Collective Shout.

Senator Stirling Griff, Centre Alliance Senator for South Australia, argued that certain content in Japanese anime film and manga publication genres met the definition of child abuse content under the Criminal Code and should not be available to the public. Collective Shout supported Senator Griff’s views.
Senator Stirling Griff, Centre Alliance Senator for South Australia, argued that the National Classification Scheme does not adequately address Japanese anime films involving sexualisation of children, and that such content is child abuse material under the Criminal Code. In his view, such depictions should automatically be Refused Classification regardless of the context in which they are set. Collective Shout supported the issues raised by Senator Griff.
In community research conducted by the Department, concern was expressed about the perceived sexual objectification and stereotyping of women in media.
In light of the concerns outlined above, further consideration should be given as to how classification should deal with the impacts on children of sexual references and stereotyped depictions of females.
Sexual objectification and stereotyping of women could potentially be included in guidance for ‘discrimination’.
The matters raised in relation to sexualised depictions of minors in films, including in anime films require a specific approach.

What a fucking shit country.
Cunts like this should have their tongue cut out with actions escalating until these fucks leave fiction alone.

Another reminder because it's always relevant, these cunts have no problem with real CP like cuties but will always target Japanese entertainment despite no character resembling a human.

In case if everyone was wondering, the Australian government originally banned the uncut version due to a still image at the end of episode 3.

The part that caught my eye is the 'trained officer' that is now expected to oversee every major film and game release coming into Australia.

The cynic in me expects the extreme scenario, where some dipshit leftist abuses her position to effectively ban every non-woke game from ever coming out, or for her to 'politely ask' the creators to self-censor.

My optimistic side wants to believe the officers will backfire on the ACB, and allow unprecedented numbers of 'ban-worthy' content to slip through the cracks.
