A underrated movie/show recommendation

I don't really know if they are really underrated, but I love the 1960 version of "Little horror petshop" and i have never seem anyone in my country talking about this movie.

A great underrated movie imo (mostly because of the language barrier) is "HD Soldat Läppli". It's a comedy about a guy who is kind of a simpleton during WW2 getting up to all kinds of mischief like teying to get a cat to be friends with a bird only for the cat to eat it.

I've seen it being shown with German, French and Italian subtitles, but never english.
