Honestly, there aren't any good alternative mod hosting sites, all those sites sooner or later they will listen to the demand of the mainstream and start to censor mods and mod creator that hurt the mainstream narrative.

The best that you can do as a mod creator its to use sites like mega, mediafire, arching.org to share your mods, honestly its better to use both, if one link got deleted we have alternative links. A lot of mod creators or romhackers only uploading their creation in only a site (never do that). Now to get people to notice your mods, will need to shill your mods, go to those disgusting mainstream sites like reddit, twitter or even discord and share your mods to them. Create a youtube account to share your mods its always a good option. 4chan might be also a good site for that. The /v/ of 8chan.moe its also could be used as well, besides of /v/ 8chan.moe have a new board for game modding, its kind dead but it could be a good alternative if people start to use.

Also don't forget to always backup your mods

For mods that are not controversial though Nexus or GB would be a good option. Becomes more difficult for questionable mods. For those mods seek out subreddits or forums like varis but more focused on mod hosting. For example nude mods would be better found on reddit. Other mods like "new weapons" for a shooter would be best got on a "standard" mod site. The one thing these modding sites have to offer is the download servers are good. Trying to download NSFW patches for obscure eroge can take fucking hours.

I worry that encouraging modders to come to a site such as this one would be seen as a "war on woke mod/emulator hosts".

I cannot imagine those freaks at gamebanana would take that action any other way.

Who cares? Screw those totalitarian woke-scolders. War with them is preferable to sneaking around, hiding non-newtonian mods… I will not be put into the closet.

Looks like Loverlabs is just now outright banning any modding of Hogwarts, you can't even post clothing mods. They're all claiming it's against the law to post those mods and multiple people admit to wasting law enforcement's time by reporting lewd anime, hentai, and games, specifically jrpgs. Funniest part, half of the shit on LL is "underage" characters engaging in sex. It's even more hilarious when the moderator there states this, "'no sexualization' of student characters".

They probably would, actually. Hell, even more so if it's a burka. It's still funny to me that the forum that hosts assault, rape, and slavery mods would report anime of any kind. Really makes you think what the site mods and owners do behind closed doors.

Another mod site that's worth a look: Modding Haven.

The last time I checked the site, it was temporarily down, so download and make local backups there in case the website gets deleted. I think some loli mods are allowed, as there's one for A Hat in Time.
