Anime porn should not be censored anymore

Thread Description
It's about the discussion of the nonsensical Japanese law that requires porn to be censored and how it affects Japan.

Japan is known for being a better democracy than the US and all others, despite its authoritarian kingdom past prior or during World War 2. While everything has improved, especially the freedoms, Unfortunately the irony about censorship especially with japanese communists is that even the non-communist political parties of Japan are so out of touch with time that they still successfully censor certain type of media like legal pornography that doesn’t hurt adults as a whole. They haven’t looked back to the issue of that because they all want advantages to stay in power and continue their corruption and attempts of full authoritarian control of Japan like they were pre-WW2.

Pornography wouldn’t be legal to be possessed, distributed or produced if its in the list of obscene media according to the 1907 Obscenity act and it is against the outdated authoritarian obscenity laws. It makes no sense that they enforce censorship of explicit sex body parts while pornography as a whole being legal. They act like it’s hurting Japan when they also hypocritically love the sex culture. The strict censorship of pornography including anime porn is a violation of freedom of expression in the Japanese constitution of the monarchy.

This issue needs to be brought up in the Japanese Diet parliament. Thus far only one politician named Yamada Toro is openly against that outdated law still in the books. He proposed the amendment of that law in late 2019 that would modify the act to legally let pornography to be viewed unblurred especially anime. Unfortunately the covid-19 pandemic has forced him to temporarily put the legislation on hold or worse scrap it completely, so pornography will remain permanently censored.

You need to know that Japan is really not as free on expression as they were portrayed to be. They were much worse in the past but in the near future their former fascist ways are possible to return. If their citizens are not going out protesting the government for their undemocratic acts, democracy would be a thing of the past.

Their politics now is awful in itself, reforms should be made to finally no longer strictly censor legal media like anime. The LDP, JCP should resign and let real true parties that would really represent freedom and their citizen. Anime has come a long way from its humble beginnings. They don’t need to be blurred because the government hates explicit sex.

Overall, to anyone that lives in Japan, please speak up to the politicians so they can listen to you and decide what to do with their outdated laws.

Just today I saw an article about a man who has been arrested for distributing illegal pornography and among the charges against him is de-censoring pornography [this is done by an AI].

this is one of the most pathetic laws in the world, how wonderful it would be to see a little world where censorship is not a reason for people's martyrdom.

You forget how many men have developed fetishes for the censorship. They have been bred and raised to appreciate the various modes and applications of censorship; whether they be bars, mosaics, or blurs. There is surely at this point an expectation or desire to have the shape and form of those hidden bits left to the mind. Even were such a ban lifted, there would surely be a censored market for some time as both performers and consumers acclimate to the exposure.

For to feed the impoverished cream and cake is to condemn them to the new misery of indigestion.
