Just curious and I wanted to make a thread about it tbh. I used to love Guilty Gear as a kid, though obviously Strive kind of ruined everything I loved about it gameplay wise and a little story wise (Bridget was my main in PLUS R so that hurt me the most). I still play Plus R and Rev2 though. I also play BlazBlue Central Fiction, Arcana Heart XTend, Melty Blood, Skullgirls, and a few others. Any other fighting games y'all play? (Y'all can have the same answer if y'all want :-) )

Nice nice, I used to main Arakune in the older games but when it comes to Central Fiction I tend to find it difficult to stick with one character, y'know?

Been busy, but I have four games I want to play on the regular:

  • BlazBlue Centralfiction
  • KOFXV
  • Samurai Shodown (2019)
  • Soul Calibur VI

Still trying to find my main on BBCF at the moment.

bugs scary. but yeah i feel ya, every character has some cool shit about them that makes you at least want to engage with their silly gimmick for a little.

i started out trying Izanami, found her too hard, then went to Es, then Bullet, then Amane and now Tager.

too much of a noob but for the most part I'm still learning a few fighting games.

Melty Blood Type Lumina would be the main one I'm playing.
Street Fighter V
Tekken 7
and Blazblue CTB
I'm AWFUL on every game, still i like FGs and have most of the currently played games.

There are a few things I miss when it comes to Actress Again to Type Lumina but I think that's probably the last bastion for Anime Fighters at this point with the direction Strive went and how there's a lack of new anime fighters these days

Still a big fan of Undernight Inbirth. Though I primarily play Akatsuki in that game. Melty Blood Type Lumina got better with time but I still hate how powerful the shield mechanic is in that game. I don't like being made to play hard three way guesses every time I press a button in offense.

Tbh I can see why the new shield mechanic in Type Lumina is not well received, but honestly I love how stupid it can be cuz there are times where I'll just shield a counter attack and then counter attack back only for that to be shielded and for the process to loop back. Again I see why it can be annoying but personally it's really funny when it happens imo. As for the other stuff around Type Lumina, the only thing I don't really like is the fact that some characters I used to play in MBAACC are either non existent for remake story reasons or kind of not fun to play in Type Lumina. But overall I do still like the game! :konata_happy:

I feel that last bit, Kohaku is still fun but it's miserable to have my set play gimped because of the opponent being able to just wake up shield out of it. Also I'm still kinda annoyed they turned Red Arc from a feral vampire to Jalter 2.
