Their problem as an archetype is not that they aren't dealing enough damage, it's that they aren't dealing their damage quickly enough
I agree with you completely. I have absolutely no reason to use any area-of-effect Caster when I have Eyjafjalla S2M3 aside from wanting to spice things up a bit. The damage boosts are nice, but the developers should have also considered reducing their attack intervals, their DP cost, or both.
I assume the buffs have gone live by now since the summer event is underway. Have the changes really made any pronounced effects for any of the operators? Are any of the archetypes more viable now?
I hate this dumb fucking dragon. This is easily one of the most irritating EX levels I've ever done.
i feel ya pain, sadly my brain wasnt good enough at solving ex8
Seriously, fuck this event. With under an hour to go, I managed to finish it but only just. "Free" is probably the worst boss I can remember having to deal with from any of the events, but I could very well be mentally blocking up some horrors long since suppressed.
Either way, while I liked the event aesthetically, I can't say I was very pleased with the mobs and mechanics. I haven't checked ahead, but I wonder if we're going to be a Contingency Contract map based on the nonsense we've dealt with here.
At the very least, I'm pleased with what I've yielded in terms of the store rewards and farming stages. I shouldn't be running out of alloy in a very, very, very long time, and the rock farming has been put at bay for the time being. Also managed to pick up two copies of Dusk just from the free daily tickets alone, so that's a plus. Sadly no Saga, for now...
Who Is Real aside, is everyone ready for Operation Originum Dust? What are your rolling plans, if any? Apparently, thanks to the newly added banner mechanics this time around, you should be able to get every limited operator in a worst case scenario of 57,600 orundum. I'd say that's fairly generous all things considered.
Anyone else excited for the co-op mode? I'm really looking forward to trying it out with my friends. I very much enjoyed the last time the game did something very different with its gameplay with the Ceobe's Fungimist event, so I have high expectations for what's to come.
