Hey, I wanted Weedy as well! She was my main interest from the banner, and I felt alone in a sea of W stans. After getting both Weedy and Elysium early on, I figured I could reasonably shoot for her as well.
And then I rolled. And I rolled. And rolled. I probably dumped a hundred or two rolls from months of saved up orundum only to get duplicate after duplicate and one or two off-banner units. Like I said, I
did want Weedy, but I didn't want her potential 3. I'm the sort of doctor that prefers to have one of every operator than a lot of a few, even if they're god-tier like SilverAsh or Eyjafjalla.
There needs to be a separate pity timer for rate-ups...
and i guess there should be enough time for r6s event and even there will be better poll rolling couse if i remember you could get the 6 star from rate up after pulling 100 times or something of that sort.
You are correct, I think. The pity timer kicks in after 50 rolls with no 6* operator, and then you gain 2% increased chance to pull from the 6* pool with each additional missed roll. In the worst case, this guarantees a 6* acquisition every 60,000 orundum, which is a lot but better than nothing. I also like how it carries through banners, though of course, limited banners get their own pity rate. Can't be too generous to the playerbase, now can we?
Thankfully, at least for the R6S event,
the banner only has Ash as a rate-up operator. I feel like I'll end up between 50 and 100 rolls by then.
