I think it is extremely depressing, as tik tok fakers never have real understanding and sympathy for people with legitimately debilitating conditions, like cerebral palsy. The parents are likely in denial because of how horrendous the crime is. I've seen similar behavior in inbred families before, denying that a history of cousin marriages causes rare congenital illnesses.

I've heard about how toxic the Danganropa fandom can be, I knew a person who got banned for defending a 12-year old from being bullied on a discord server. You could make a megathread dedicated to Tik Tok's DID/Plural Faker Community.
