If this spreads to other servers, that might just kill these games. I mean a big part of the appeal of waifu collection games like AL or GFL is the coomer bait. The devs know this hence why fan service skins or sexually appealing girls are made. Even FGO , a game that has more narrative focus, knows this with the summer costumes, big tiddy girls and lolis. These games have tons of hentai made of them for a reason. I don’t understand what kind of person one has to be to enjoy playing games like this but be apathetic or even hold disdain for the lewd aspects of it. Then again Reddit communities tend to be filled with people who are a bit special in the head. Fuck the CCP and fuck puritans.

also to add to this the director of GFL2 has a good point in that in GFL there is a wide range of damaged art and the artists have a lot of freedom to do what they want with them
in the early days, a lot of the damaged art was normal battle damage as that's what was expected from the type of game GFL is at the time

Haven’t played Azur Lane in a long ass time (since the Hololive Colab at least) but hooooooo boooyy. Removing whole ass characters, ESPECIALLY two of your most popular. Hooo boy thats a quick and easy way to kill your game. I hope this doesn’t spread to EN or any of the other servers.

I certainly hope what the anon(s) mentioned is merely overblown beyond reasonable proportion. I actually quite like Arknights, and it's very easy to forget it's owned by insects because they don't force any political bullshit. The worst sort of fans we have to worry about in the west are just mega-autists that numberfag and only care about min-maxing everything (similar to Fate in a way). It pains me to think domestic fans of the game, even if they are bugs, could be responsible or at the very least a major contributor to such reprehensible behavior.

from what i've been told 17 of the girls that showed a little too much of the skin in Azur Lane got removed and some - if not all - of the damaged skins in GFL are getting removed too, i'm actually shocked it took this long to happen tbh considering their origin. hope the EN servers don't get affected too:(

to my knowledge there has been no news of changes to global so could you back up the bullshit you say with sources plz
in this case, having HQ in other countries won't change anything. The CN version will still get censored and the other versions are untouched (unless things get worse and all version are changed to CN version)
Also in most anime fanservice games, western version are always more censored than the CN version. I think Azur Lane is the only exception where the global version is less censored. If Azur Lane is published by other companies, i'm sure the global version will be censored heavily while the CN version retain the sexyness (at least until before this CCP crackdown event)
