It seems like to me they saw the success of Elden Ring and thought "Let's do that!". I do see quite a few people defending it, but I hope that those are a vocal minority. To be fair though, it would've probably flopped even without the censorship. It just kinda blows compared to the first one.
Yeah I notice that the Nioh 3 forums aren't flooded with anti-censorship sentiment like they were with Code Vein 2, even though it has the same problems. Just like with Elden Ring, people only have "principles" when it's a bad game anyway. To be fair though, it would've probably flopped even without the censorship. It just kinda blows compared to the first one.
For me elden ring is when I found out about the "body type" shit I looked at the menu for character creation was so confused by what I saw I had to look up what was going on. Since then I am much more careful and do much more research when it comes to games I am interested in.
Found it, here the video showcase :They also removed female specific animations from that game. So when walking your female player character moves like a dude. It's really off putting in a uncanny valley way especially coming from IP's which used to have it for decades.
Removal of feminine animations is censorship too and it's something not a lot people notice. I've seen some video's of Code Vein II and it seems like the female player movements looks kinda off as well compared to the Code Vein I.
