Hey, a LOT of those old Kongregate/Newgrounds games could be re-released on steam and VASTLY outperform the majority of the slop being put out now. I would LOVE to see the Arkandian games by undefined get some love on steam (Well as long as they don't mess it up with modern audience politics and shit)

Honestly after seeing how bad Inquisition was, at that point everyone should have swore off Bioware and EA then and there if they had not already. (Then someone told me horror stories about Mass Effect Andromeda) Cawadoody manages to get even WORSE every release, I have NO idea how each one manages to top the last in how bad it is, but Lacktivision somehow finds a way. I have never purchased a cawadoody game in my life thankfully. (I always look up how bad each new release is and its just ass)

It would be far easier to list the name of a western game that isn't woke and pozzed (Helldivers 2?)

Right now if I see a game made by western developers I automatically assume it's pozzed, woke, involved itself with ESG and DEI or all of the aforementioned.

What gets me is all these anti-woke people who defend baldurs gate 3 now and say how its good and not woke just because it got popular. I wonder if Hololive has anything to do with this or if it is a rogue translator.

The worst part about this is, this is right around the time the Western Industry needs to wake up badly and Microsoft desperately needs a W in it's Win column alongside a WRPG that can win people back. This does not inspire any confidence in Phil Spencer and Microsoft to do the job and in fact makes me believe that A Perfect Dark and a dozen other games are going to flop badly because it will focus on the worst aspects of everything and be a DEI fest to "Own the Chuds" rather than listen to the customer who just wishes to play a normal game for once.

Space Marine 2 and Helldivers 2 seems to be the ones everyone likes from Western Companies. Even though funny enough, Space Marine 2 was made by Eastern Euro's. I have zero hope for that game. At some point it's going to be up to Smaller Studios to fill the void of the AAA industry in the West. Much like the same for Japan on it's own smaller companies trying to bypass AAA in the East.

At the very least DEI can not effect them much due to being private entities and Technology has progressed so much you can make a high end PS3 Game. It's all about hard work, dedication and effort that prioritizes Gameplay Depth, Style, and just is a good adventure with 8-14 hours long with tons of extras in a span of 2.5 years rather than graphics and too long of a game that takes 4 years to come out. These can even can make good money and even expand the studio and salaries if it sells well.
