The other day I tried to play through DMC 5, and I simply couldn’t do it because I had no strength left to look at old-lady Trish and Lady who looks like a trans parody of herself. The funniest part is that I couldn’t find any decent mods that would at least bring Lady a little closer to the girl from DMC3. I can’t even understand where that heavy jaw and broken nose came from, as if she were an MMA fighter. As for Nico, she evoked no associations in me other than Donkey from “Shrek.”
One of the hottest characters for me was undoubtedly Lady, and she also had a very cute real-life prototype in the form of the Russian 2000s singer Yulia Volkova (who unfortunately turned into a monster because of countless plastic surgeries). I still can’t forgive Capcom for what they did to her… There’s not a gram of the sexuality she had in the previous games; she clearly looks like a transgender person on hormone therapy and steroids at the same time. Maybe I’m exaggerating, but it’s pretty sad that DMC buried itself thanks to Capcom.
