Have you been playing any emu lately? If so, what roms/isos/w.e have you been playing? My guilty pleasure lately has been GBA emu, and I've been playing bangers like Metroid Fusion and M&L Superstar Saga. Thinking about revisiting Fire Emblem and Pokemon but I've grown to despise the latter especially bc of the sword and shield bs.

It wasn't recently but i loved playing Persona 5 on rpcs3. Other than that i have been replaying Pokemon ROM hacks (Platinum Renegade and Sacred Gold) on melonDS. Also DOA Xtreme 3 Scarlet on Yuzu for nyotengu and marie.

I literally downloaded all emu games I can just to store them up for when the inevitable Internet apocalypse is coming.

I recently began playing Dragon Quest 1 on Bizhawk. Fun game so far, will probably try and emulate some Ratchet and Clank later on PCXS2

Been playing a lot of Ocarina of Time Randomizer on the modloader64 emulator.
Tried to get into Resident Evil Outbreak file 1 using PCXS2 but I couldn't.

I recently bought a basically late proto build of DJFFNY(Build date 2004_08_09) and as I expected barely any differences besides Final Pal build saves not working, the THQ movie is different, and a french version of i believe the EA Games intro screen. Going through story to make sure nothing else changed. As far as I'm concerned final build date is 08_09 since 99% of the assets in the final date back to the build I got.

I replayed Xenoblade Chronicles X on Cemu recently. Pyra and Mythra got in Smash, so I took the opportunity to replay the game (triggered a Xenoblade high) and then make representative Skells/Dolls of Xenoblade 2 characters. I even went through the effort to de-censor and un-dub the game. Not sure who/what to make the 4th Skell, but at least I got the main two gals.

Nothing really if you specifically mean emulator, but I'm always up to play MK64 online over Kaillera if anyone wants to. (JP version, Mupen64++ which can be get here http://dl.dropbox.com/s/dxpxybvigi8nl2k/Mupen64++.zip?dl=1)

I own a few retro systems physically btw, not long bought Donkey Kong Land 1&2 for the Gameboy too. Kremlantis and Voices of the Temple best tracks, they are exclusive to DKL1/DKC-GBC too. That said I do live in a PAL region and no I don't import or mod my systems because I'm not a whiny bitch about 'muh localisation', I just try to enjoy things with time-relevancy I guess (plus I don't really understand importing shit anyway, and the UK is awful for getting anything imported from Japan in comparison to how easy it is for say France or USA btw)

Shit, I still remember the controversy with the characters being censored in the game. Btw. was it just few characters (like that one shortstack) or the censorship problem was bigger to de-censor?
Also: How in the world you guys have so much space to archive these games?

I actually played Xenoblade X originally on the Wii U, but I figured I'd get much better performance emulating it on my PC (some areas are bad, most are better). The censorship mostly applied to Lin/Lyn, who was canonically under 18 in the English version. I think even in the Japanese version she was barely 16 or something. The English version covered her up more in the more revealing joke outfits. With the de-censor & un-dubbing patch, you can put her in a bikini or bunny suit, if you so desire, but I kept every character in their OG outfit (minus the avatar). Also the breast slider for female avatars was disabled (not removed! It's still there, technically) in the English version. One can get around this by booting up the original Japanese version, making the desired character, exporting the character file with the maximum booba (although tbh it looks kinda bad; they're just balloons), and then loading that file up in the patched English version. When it comes to censorship, there really isn't too much, but it's still there. Nothing egregious like other games.

As for space to archive the game...well, I'm actually quite low on space. I have the game on a separate 1TB SSD, but it only occupies some 20~gb . I need....WAYYYY more space now that I got a capture card to record MH Rise.

Interesting, the booba thing reminds me how even with the JP fan-translated version apparantly you still can't get the petting mini-games. Fucking censorship
Also that's still plenty of space. I have only 120GB on my old SSD and I usually have 2-10 GB of free space and even then for some reason I can get it to 35-40 GB free space at best:konata_cry::konata_cry::konata_cry:

So i just got my first PC around two weeks give or take. And wanted to know any emulator thats good that doesn't require too much knowledge to handle. And if you guys know any games that you would recommend? I tend to like jrpgs especially like the ones of FF xenoblade chronicles 2 and persona. Bonus points for amazing fan service/ecchi.

RPCS3 (PS3 emu) and Persona 5 although there might be a chance that i will release on PC.

A review copy of DMC2 came out and I did manage to setup a deal with the seller to dump the game and charge 35$ for it which is much cheaper then what it went for the auction. The end was like 50ish or more. When I do manage to pay it off and release it.

Well as DarkMahesvara said RPCS3 is great if you like JRPG's as the PS3 has a ton of em. I'd also say CEMU or Citra if you're into WiiU or 3DS games and their respective libraries.

i just wanna play red dead redemption :satania-cry:
Then get xbone one x. You can play RDR the best way (much better graphics, resolution, adds things that were missing such as terrain elements or clouds). The only problem is that you'll have to buy a console and a xbox360 disc of RDR GOTY edition. That or you can wait few more years until the modders figure out how to deal with RDR's atrocious code and make it fully playable. Or when at least when rockstar and take-two will stop sending thugs to curb-stomp anyone trying to port their game from xbox 360 to PC, because they are to fucking lazy to port the game themselves:seething: (also I wish we had an angry keanu emoji for such instances). I get your pain bro, I also wanna replay that as well.
