Case Files event is coming up soon. Banner will of course have Waver. So if your like me and are a Waverlet, I recommend rolling for him. (Hopefully the event will also have some good mats in the shop if there even is a shop for case files)

Excellent advice. While I generally do not advocate rolling for dudes, there are a few exceptions, with Waver being up there on the list. I rolled for him back during his last banner, and while I am seething over it having taken over 700 SQ worth of rolls, everything spent was worth it.
WITH THAT BEING SAID, if you would rather save your SQ for someone else, perhaps his upcoming companion Lady Reines, then you could always wait until the free SSR ticket during the 20M Downloads Campaign estimated to arrive in 2022.
As for the what's to come, here's some info on the Pre-Release Campaign for those interested.
Please God, why... I hope it's fun at least. While I loved both the story and nodes for GUDAGUDA Imperial Capital Grail, doing it all a second time loses much of the charm. The only exception for me is probably SE.RA.PH, only because that event is just pure kino.
According to the original Japanese schedule for GUDAGUDA Final Honnōji, we should be expecting it sometime in mid-July.
I am so ready for Nagao Kagetora. It's finally time to get my hands on an Arts Lancer, and thankfully she's a cute little thing too!

Can I have any confirmation here? Does Miss Crane retreat from the battlefield after her NP or does she just get thrown into the furthermost position in the back line?

This is the wording that is used on the FGO Wiki.
Observe what occurs with her NP usage. Miss Crane (#2) "retreats" to the last (rightmost) position, as Chen Gong (#3) is utilized to kill Odysseus (#1), where Arash (#4) takes his place and Miss Crane returns to the battlefield. I'm not really sure what happened with the potential fifth unit. I'll assume xNaya just used a four-man roster, as otherwise Miss Crane would not have returned so soon.

Yeah, if she gets put into the back line after her NP then there might be creative ways to utilize her in CQs. Crit-based strat is a given.

Just re-read my post, and I didn't mean to sound terse and condescending if I did. This shit was confusing for me as well, and it's not the most intuitive design. I had to walk through the video myself to ensure I knew what the hell was going on. This is also one of very few times they've ever made position (of allies) actually matter as a game mechanic.
That being said, I'm still not entirely sold on her kit. It feels very gimmicky, niche at best and useless at worst, but I am willing to be proven wrong with valid theorycrafting and, hopefully soon, videos showcasing her potential. It just cannot be ignored that paying 20 stars is a heavy price, and we've already seen otherwise quality units like Semiramis and Moriarty suffer with much lesser debts. I am not one to denounce alternatives in favor of the mainline supports, but why exactly might one use her instead of Waver or Castoria? Hopefully there's something I am missing and her cost of entry is well worth it.
Agreed, it's probably best that she doesn't sacrifice herself (say in Nobukatsu fashion) even if she drops a heavy attack boost. As someone who likes to play stalling compositions, especially hybrid ones with a single damage dealer, she could function well in certain strategies assuming enough passive star generation is utilized.

What the heck is Peperoncino Scandinavia? My impression of him just reading LB4 is that he's some sort of trained killer-slash-magus (like Kiritsugu/Beryl) but he ran away, wandered aimlessly, then found Chaldea and sort of started a new lease on life.
