I downloaded 5 CIA files from different sites, tried to decrypt them and also patch them on two different devices (Linux and Windows), but it still won’t let me patch the game file itself.
The patch tells me that I need to decrypt the file.
I literally just found some decrypted files that work in the first search link and from fucking reddit of all places

There's much less stuff to report though, but I will keep writing about whatever I find.
There's a Typo in Takumi and Felicia's rank S dialogue - it says "Despit" instead of "Despite".
Nothing more for now. I've checked various tree dialogues and whatnot, nothing eye-catching at least.
Some castle visit dialogue (irrelevant for emulators) and basically all child-mother dialogue remain untranslated but that's a known issue.
Also there's a phrase that takes two lines but only one fits on the screen, something along the lines of "You can pick a unit to add to the directory" and "to the directory" is only on the screen for like three pixels. But it's a phrase used after visiting castle battles so It's only relevant for Streetpass, i.e. not emulators.

Remove the blank spaces from your file name.

Edit: Finally got it working, i initially use a new redux decryptor and i think that what's caused some files didnt show up. So i switch back to the old one. Both on github btw.

hi! im really sorry if this question has been answered before, but i was wondering...How exactly _do_ i get a japanese version of the cias? and then how do i patch everything? does it work on a emulator at all, or only a hacked 3ds? ive never done anything like this, and im not that tech savvy, but i really want to try it!

question! in my cia files, theres an "update" cia (for both jpn and english versions), can i install it like the dlcs cia? or do i not need it at all?
You don't need it, the update was about online stuff if I remember correctly.
thank you, once again, sorry for all the questions! one last one, i swear. when i go into dlc selection, i have a bunch of "dlcs" like this (when clicked, they take me back to the main menu), is this normal? or did i fuck up my instiallation somehow?

Yeah that's "normal", they're just empty DLC.
