Oh, some NPC "online files" might not be translatedI'm currently playing through the game with the latest patch. First of all, I had no problem installing the patch with your latest instructions, so they're pretty good!
Secondly, absolutely loving all the extra stuff here - currently doing the amiibo missions and having a blast. The only time I've seen a line in Japanese was when I was visiting a street pass castle and I'm not sure if those are even supposed to be translated (NPC line, not the custom PC line which obviously aren't tranlated)
There's one thing that I haven't found either here or in Team IF FAQs, and that's whether or not to install the 3mb update for the game. But I did because the constant reminder on startup kept bothering me and as far as I can see nothing is broken afterwards.
Oh and I'm playing on hardware, yeah.
That's me forgetting to use the scripted command.Edit: Found a small issue on the last amiibo mission, in the very first line Robin calls me "Kamui" instead of my custom char name. Not sure yet whether that's just the way you did things or an actual issue so I thought it would be best to mention it, but it's not a big deal with a custom translation.
They've turned off the servers so it's impossible to visit castles or do battle over the internet, but StreetPass specifically is strictly console-to-console so there's no real way to turn that off. Sure it's basically impossible to meet another 3DS out in the wild today but a) it's easy if you actually have several consoles on hand, and b) there's a homebrew software called NetPass that uploads your streetpass data to its servers and downloads data from other recently active users, effectively imitating you passing them irl. It even allows to exchange play coins or whatever they're called for specific game pings so getting FE if passes is really easy.Oh, some NPC "online files" might not be translated, I thought the StreetPass thing wasn't even working anymore.
>PAL Fates special editionAnna's lines in the Anna's second gift dlc aren't translated. Although there's nothing there story wise, obviously.
Also I have a bunch of non-usable dlc lines like EP09, EP10, and some hieroglyphics mixed in with regular dlc. This is most likely because I'm playing on hardware and have my PAL Fates special edition dlc installed on it.

Hey, at the moment, I'm stuck on the same problem as TamaPochi (which he was able to resolve). To answer your first question, yes I'm using the Japanese Special Edition version. To the second question, I don't have a file called "DLC.0008.00000025". To your third question, I'm doing this on the downloads folder. (C:\Users\super\Downloads\FE_Fates Uncensored Patch 1.6\DLCPatcher), so by default it's not protected by the OS and has full read/write permissions. I was able to successfully and easily patch the main game. After I run the ctrtool -p --contents=DLC *yourDLCfile*.cia command (I obviously replaced *yourDLCfile* with the actual DLC .cia folder), and it loaded the 62 files. Now, when I go to the DLCModdedFiles, copy the contents in it, and paste it to the DLCPatcher folder, it doesn't prompt me to replace the files. I've tried all sorts of things but nothing has been working for me. As TamaPochi mentioned, I decrypted the CIA file once again, but it didn't decrypt it since it's already been decrypted. I used Batch-CIA-3DS-Decryptor-Redux-1.0.6.1 to decrypt it. I also went through with it with ChatGPT and verified my files which were correct according to your instructions. Now to the last part, when I run the makerom... command for the last step, I get backA few questions just to discard some usual stuff:
Are you using the Japanese Special Edition version?
After using the first command ("ctrtool -p --contents=DLC *yourDLCfile*.cia"), do you have a file called "DLC.0008.00000025"?
Are you doing the patching process on a folder that is not protected by the OS and has full read/write permissions?
? Those 62 files should be loaded in the DLCPatcher folder, and you should be getting the prompt to replace the files when pasting the ones in the DLCModdedFiles folder. After I run the ctrtool -p --contents=DLC *yourDLCfile*.cia command (I obviously replaced *yourDLCfile* with the actual DLC .cia folder), and it loaded the 62 files. Yeah they're there, I haven't tried playing them yet because I want to finish the routes first to refresh my memory.Btw do the 2 Festival of Bonds DLC even show up?
I used Batch-CIA-3DS-Decryptor-Redux-1.0.6.1 to decrypt it.
I've already fixed all that, but I'll wait until you finish your playthrough in case there's more stuff to fix.I'll use this post to report any further issues that I find. Who knows, perhaps one day you could fix them! No pressure though.

Wow, that was fast!I've already fixed all that, but I'll wait until you finish your playthrough in case there's more stuff to fix.
Alright, new report post to keep them separated.
Currently on chapter 19 of the Byakuyan route, when the sword gets upgraded.
The sage says the following: "It is now the blade of the "White Sky", Yato-no-kami. The one that will quiet and pacify the night. It's new form".
Afterwards the message pops that says "Obtained the Night Sky Yato", with the inventory item also called that henceforth. Seems like the route names are mixed here? Idk.
Are you referring to version 2121.2 of Azahar? From the Azahar website?-And Azahar introduced new sensible performance optimizations in their latest build.
I've been testing this new build with the new version of the HD pack and the stuttering appears to be gone.
@TacoBell-kun if you ended up not playing because of the stutters, you might be interested in checking this out.

I'm still dealing with stuttering. It would be much easier to play test with the settings if the emulator didn't save everything in a cache that just disappears when I restart my computer. It turns out that previous areas that I thought didn't have stutter were just parts where the shaders got stored, so they didn't stutter after the first time I tested it that session. No, I'm talking about: https://github.com/azahar-emu/azahar/releases/tag/2122-rc1
Welp, then idk what to tell you.I'm still dealing with stuttering. I did notice some problems around 0:48. It doesn't exactly run flawlessly on your device either. The game didn't run too well when Marx and Nishiki were entering battle for the first time.Welp, then idk what to tell you.
The game runs better on my I7 from 2012 with 8GB of ram while recording at 1080p/60fps...
