I used to hang out at sankaku forums it was alright, apart from that and varis I didnt have much of an online presence sorry

I just use the Illegal streaming site Anilinkz for my anime fix, and i just randomly pick what anime to watch each season. On YouTube, I'm also subscribed to all Japanese Anime distributors, so I will most of the time see the trailer for the newest anime being released. Most weird ones I just find through Sankaku complex articles, they tend to cover some interesting ones.
