NGL, Sanrio fans really scare me because out of any toxicity online i see other than from schizo shonentards/shojotards and holier than thou seinen fans in the anime community it would have to be from the sanrio fans.

Those guys are really ready to kill you at any given moment if you dare say something they disagree with they'll go batshit insane to the extreme with a huge amount of death threats after death threats. The saying goes the cuter the media the more nightmare the fandom will be.

So that being said, anyone else scared of them and if you have any bad encounters with them let me know.

i know someone tracing a pedoring grooming kids who sent me some videos inhopes i could help track him and one of the pedos in it often used shitty cutesy phone filters and doing that kinda shit to appear cute to his kittens and no i'm not joking

I personally have never interacted with the sanrio fandom, but the way you describe them is very similar to fans of those popular tumblr shows from the 2010s like steven universe.

For what I see is pretty much an extreme version of people being unable to stomach the fact that other people have different interpretations of the medium. This combined with the popular victim mentality that is so common among them. Makes them into complete animals when they see something that doesnt fit their ironically narrow view of the media they follow.
