Russia shitting on anime just because a big government is probably paying them, huh? As expected of it, it should be pretty obvious that the major media companies will do anything if it gives them easy money.
From what I've heard they are going to block YouTube soon as well, so make that of what you will.
In the meanwhile, I wouldn't be surprised if by 2025 they had a Great Firewall-like equivalent in order to keep their dictatorship in power, it's only a matter of time until they become just like China in terms of censorship.

Twitter would ban and suspend Japanese artists and deplatform people who would disagree with them, rather than take care of the zoophiles that are running around the place openly admiting to having sex with animals and even defend the act.

Twitter is actually really xenophobic and it looks at this in a western narrow lens meaning that all other countries in the world have to conform to their standards or else they are gaslighted as bigots yet themselves are displaying the behavior they accuse others of.
