That and I see they went to poa st and started demanding the owner ban loli art, KW is making it very hard to defend them. Advocating for loli bans is my 3rd rail.
If they keep it up I'm going to stop giving a fuck about their plight. I only defend them because you have to defend the undesired speech to protect your own, purely selfish reasons. I personally hate kiwifarms and wouldn't had cared if they died under far less alarming circumstances such as if null just didn't want to pay for the servers anymore, none of this twitter/lucas/government ddos/blackmail shit.
It speaks to my own lack of self-preservation that, even if a section of users do pull this shit (from what I've seen it's mostly people who haven't gotten over Internet Bloodsports shit), I'd still advocate for them to not be taken down simply by virtue of not wanting places taken off the Internet for arbitrary reasons at the behest of mob rule. It'd be nice if that was reciprocated, but at no point did I ever anticipate that. Nobody who cares about freedom of speech and expression as an ideal should care if it's reciprocated. This is a moral imperative for me, as gay as that sounds.
Tit-for-tat shit is the path to madness, and has led to the wholesale censorship of large parts of the Internet before. I won't blame you if you disagree and are willing to just treat this as some Us vs. Them tribalism. It's a lot to ask if you aren't nearly as invested.
If they'd stop trying to dox us for loli, it would not be an issue.
The sooner everyone on here learns proper OPSEC the better. Using a password manager like keepassxc, minimizing the amount of potentially identifiable information, and simply keeping unique user names on unlinked accounts are all good places to start. Oh and paranoia, I ask myself daily if I've said or posted something online that could triangulate my ass to the nearest 100mi or so.
