I by chance watched this video from a guy called Dogen:
From what I understand, Japanese words maybe aren't that hard to pronounce, but sounding like a native is probably another story though. Hmm.

Well,Japanese pronunciation don't have intonation than English…😅

Umm…But it's not such a problem.
To be honest, most of foreigners are not native Japanese pronunciation.
(It's not rarely because whenever foreigner living in Japan a for long time.)
For example, this guy lived in Japan a for long time. But he's not such a Japanese native pronunciation.

To be honest, his Japanese is American accent or English accent.
But,we don't worry about that.
I think,his Japanese so good.
Mostly of his Japanese are perfect.
I'm feeling about him as a Japanese.
if you can't speak naturally Japanese,we don't worry about that.
Well,if you wanna get Japanese native pronunciation, that story is change...

Thanks! Jahyyyyyy!

You are sooo kind to me!
My pleasure! Your efforts are great, and you should be commended appropriately.

Patience needs to be taken when you are both learning a language and helping others. I am sure if I were to start speaking what limited Japanese I know, I would have a lot of mistakes. Actually, I would have much more than you do, as your English is very understandable.

Many thanks for the added Japanese text. It's always good to learn more. :nep-happy:

Yes! Dogen has some truly excellent informative videos, especially on the somewhat challenging Japanese tonal system. I also enjoy his comedic videos, much like the one you posted. They're often short and easy to process. He's a strong recommendation from me to those learning Japanese.

I am grateful for you pointing this out. There is a stereotype among Japanese people that they are often critical of foreigners speaking Japanese, and while this is probably true for some, particularly older people, I don't think it's the case in general.

One fear that I think most native learners have is whether or not they will be able to speak with a native accent. I think this mindset is unnecessary, as you just need to be understood. It would be nice to speak natively in another language, but I think that's unreasonable for most people. The concern mostly comes from natives being judgemental of your own accent, but I think in most cases they are just grateful that you are making an attempt to speak their language.

Also, thank you for posting the link to the Forvo site. I have used it before in the path, I believe for other languages as well, and it can be very helpful for learning proper pronunciation.

Ahh, both of them are so cute! どちらもとても可愛いですね!:hibiki-hnng:

Thank you for adding another character! I am so happy that Saki-chan is no longer alone. I can't wait to see what else is to come! You are very talented with your character design.

メガネ好きですか?They are very popular accessories for characters, as many westerners enjoy them.

Also, thank you for writing the kanji as well as furigana. This is without a doubt that hardest part of learning Japanese for me, so the more experience with them in writing, the better!

I apologize for being so late to see this new update. The new year has been challenging for me for the most part. 難しいです。。。

From your last few drawings, I do not have any major corrections to add. There is only one slight correction.

"in this year" => "this year"
解説 The use of "in" is not necessary because "this year" already indicates the time period being considered. Alternatives you may want to consider are "throughout" or "during", both of which are acceptable yet not always needed.

"メガネ好きですか?"

I'll correct it.
But good try.

"メガネ好きですか” is mean " Do you like the eyeglasses (glasses) ?"
I can understand from your context.

In this case, ”眼鏡っ娘(めがねっこ)は好きですか?”. →Romaji text ver: " meganekko ha sukidesuka? "
It mean is "Do you like the eyeglasses girl?"
And also, you can use ”メガネっ娘(meganneko)は好きですか?”

娘(こ)"ko" is kun yomi(Japanese pronunciation), on yomi (Originally Chinese pronunciation) ver is 娘(むすめ)"musume"

Convert to kanji. 音読み(おんよみ)、訓読み(くんよみ)

娘<むすめ musume>(virgin female, daughter, girl)

娘さん、かわいいですね。(Your daughter is cute)
<musumesan kawaiidesune.)

(おまけ)

What the different about 少女 and 女の子.
And 娘。

This is fudepen shodo.
You choice favorite word or something kanji.
You should write kanji to your notebook or thin paper sketchbook.
This way is good kanji learning way.
That is my opinion.

I'll introduce text to speech software.
What is ondoku 3?
This software is very useful text to speech Japanese software. So you can know about Japanese pronunciation.
But that software text limit is 8000 characters.(I'm not sure)
If you copy and paste something sentence,
you click to " 読み上げ(よみあげ) " = 'text to speech".
And then, you can get the coverage of that sentence Japanese pronunciation.
And you can choice to Japanese sounds deta from "language".
Try it.
And,you should check about rule of ondoku3 (bottom)

Hey,do you need to add to romaji in this manga?
I'm reading out lould…so I guess don't need to Romaji.
What do you think about that?

that would be nice but... won't it will saturate the pages?

Well, I'm not what you mean……
Originally,my manga is saturate the information (?)
So new style is compact. (English, kana,Japanese)
So probably you don't need to worry about that.
Is this answer ok?
