straight-up switched to gelbooru after all the ai spam, only really go there to find paid content (most of which they put behind a paywall...) if i can't find it anywhere else

Been using Danbooru with a premium account, and it's been smooth-sailing since. I think it's a fantastic tool for reverse searching for sources or stuff that gets taken down by the author.
Im on a similar boat. I firmly stand behind the idea that everybody has a right voice their opinion, except when that opinion involves silencing others.
So basically anybody who preaches censorship should be censored imo
I'm all for the idea of someone putting together a tool that hooks into Twitter's API for grabbing the people that like/RT certain things, so a list can be aggregated for people to avoid (whether that's for safety, mental health, or other reasons). Since blocklists are basically dead now, and there's a genuine problem with botting/astroturfing. The downside is that Elon sadly put certain things (like checking likes and RTs of a Tweet) behind a $100/month paywall.
I doubt anything can really be done unless people actively push back with greater force and make the actions of terminally online cretins have consequences. They don't like it when other people play by their own rules, and they behave like a cult. If radicals like them (left wing or right wing, I don't care) are allowed to go unchallenged, they will singlehandedly ruin the fabric of society, that's the problem with ignoring the issue or feigning ignorance. We've seen it with video games and other things turning into goyslop garbage that makes taking a break unavoidable.
