My search for some background noise while I work landed me on this fool's page

short version: half of the video is a history lesson of japan, then starts talking about japan's morals, how long it took japan to criminalize cp and why loli is allowed, watsuki's arrest and blalblabla rurouni kenshin shouldn't be demonized because watsuki enjoys cp but made in abyss is disgusting.

And the search continues. Fucking hell it's near impossible to find anime commentators who don't eventually bring up how much they hate fanservice (but totally love tits and in this guy's case that pink hair twink from seven deadly sins) and loli.

I occasionally watch the Super Gaming Bros. They (at least Johnny and Elliot, Matt's a cunt) were tolerant of loli but then Johnny got a girlfriend, Nora, and every opportunity the bitch gets she attacks any loli fanservice which she did in their recent MvC Collection videos. Johnny probably likes how warm she is so he agrees with her, Elliot seems to still be sane, Matt's still a cunt (tolerable as long as he doesn't spend too much time bitching about it).

What is odd is I found something very similar with a Manga Reviewer who was talking about The Elusive Samurai, he had to mention that "It's the next Ruroni Kenshin" and it's "far better because of the fact Watsuki has issues" at some point Anime creators are very dishonest people as a whole and look to make easy Money and Views off of society than to actually care about the content as a whole and respect the culture. Japan has always been a progressive society, it has always been about Fanservice, it has always been about the love of all forms of beauty. To say they hate Fanservice, yet like Shota and Loli is very much saying they hate Japanese Culture as a whole. It's too dishonest and it's not worth checking out.

The main problem is I dislike these people because they try to pander instead of saying what they like by being honest and be legitimately interested in these things. It's why they always turn out to be the worst creators and end up playing the fence sitting position or end up spiraling downward and become Trans or some sort of crazy person. Because who they are within is not honest. It's a rarity in Anime/Manga communities to have people who are just honest about what they like, say it, and legitimately tell you what they dislike. Instead of this weird stitching together of ideologies and being a moralist about everything.

Unfortunately, it is never gonna be understood. Especially with a certain community that let their worst members express the full extend of their own lack of proper social interactions - fully lost in their fantasy world. Besides, very few people have a working moral compass, following more a herd mentality than asking the true questions on such matters.

BonsaiPop case is that the guy actually never truly explored morality as a subject - so his view isn't beyond what western countries pass it as 'acceptable'. So, I can't blame him on putting so much historical info on the matter while not giving a proper answer on the subject. As for Arch, the guy is an activist for pushing back against woke agenda in AAA companies and protecting right-wing policies/ideas in serious creation projects, so that isn't his own area of expertise either. Both can only provide an opinion at best.

Again, the biggest challenge in morality itself is the prevalent ignorance of people on the matter - the worst ones being the preachers/hardliners. Truly talking about morality isn't a popular subject (worse than politics and religion), nor is it entertaining really.

Something I notice a lot of is that Pedophiles have some sort of disability from which they can not distinguish fiction from reality, while Lolicons/Shotacons can separate fiction from reality. Which is why you will notice they always think of Fictional Characters as real or Fictional Things effecting the real world. Because like the Trans that exist right now, they are unable to comprehend the fact that people play as females to look at beautiful characters, and not become those characters themselves. They always seem to be jealous and angry and throw some type of tantrum because the narrative of reality and fiction being separate is not hypocritical, it's logical. I'm asking this because this person used to be honest, trustworthy, and even awe-inspiring. More than being one of the first people to speak out against PoliCore culture, he also opposes socially-motivated ideological dogma*, reconciled with some of the people he bitterly criticized (like you'd care), and has given boatloads of fantastic life advice. Still, looking back now, his history was fishy, and one gripe with him that stuck out to me above all, was that he wanted anime to stop being so open about its depictions of fan service. While I've forgotten most of the details (heck, I can't find the video anymore), he did make an offhand comment disapproving erotica involving an anime girl "not of age". At the time, I didn't think much of it.

Fast forward several years, and I find his social media feeds have him lamenting sexual child drawings, at one point saying that (paraphrased) "anime in the current day is just an excuse to make erotica for child predators", with him being expectedly assailed by a mix of lolicons and normal people in favor of freedom of expression.
Then he made this video.

I don't actively go looking for anti-lolicon/shotacon moralists, so seeing such a hope-rousing figure who spoke out for "problematic" art deign to becoming a moralist was exceptionally disheartening. What's worse is that he has convinced former lolicons/CSA survivors to become antis themselves. That being said, he has lost numerous fans in light of this surrepticiously censorious diatribe, several of whom didn't even bother telling him that they'd given up on him, owing to his belligerent, proselytizing attitude towards his detractors, if not total indifference.

He's probably taught a valuable life lesson to those he estranged intellect-wise, too: It's possible to love one for who they were, yet hate what they are.

Knowing he admitted to being a fan of a certain series, I had a burning urge to ask him for his opinion on a recent controversy someone like him would perceived to be relevant. After observing his behavior (or lack there of) in the comments, however, I decided it was best that he, or, by extension, his gathered sectarians, never knew.

* in layman's terms, "woke(ness)", and too many folk we've seen made it sound like a positive thing. On top of that, he's criticized BLM, stays away from Fat Acceptance, and doesn't excuse the "Religion of Peace" (even if he doesn't make it known).
