Some people have nostalgia for forums which is a dying type of social media in a time of shitholes like subreddits and twitter and circlejerk servers and this is seen as the alternative slow but chill.

I 100% agree , Forums were the rule , not the exception before Social Media. The worst part of Social Media will always be how it centralized everything into a giant circle jerk , and made the Internet a less fun place in the process. Web 2.0 Social Media wave has been a disaster for The Internet as a whole.

Hello everyone.

I am Berkeley Berkman. I often lurked this forum and several imageboards for a while, but I decided to join this forum since it's much better compared to other platforms. How I found this place was thanks to the Fediverse and those weebs using this site and their main instance.

I was interested in the significantly older anime and manga (along with its history and production) released, but I also like to look back at animation outside of those East Asian lands. In other words, I'm a simple man that's still attached to Western animation in general, but mostly for seeing how inferior it is compared to Japanese animation. I also like watching films and playing games, even if many of them bore or disgust me.

I occasionally draw, too. Someday, I'd like to self-publish my own comics and cartoons, but that'll take some more time. Additionally, I enjoy a lot of tech-related subjects, like GNU/Linux, computer hardware, rendering, and much more. I also like to cook every now and then.

Of course, I appreciate the cute and funny lolis, but my favorite ones have dark skin. They're obviously nothing like those in reality at all. They don't sound like them, either.

Hey all.

I actually joined this site back in 2021 when Shizu advertised it on Twitter, but I was still heavily involved in this other forum at the time, so I wasn't active for very long. This other forum was supposed to be centered around PlayStation/trophy hunting, and I got to watch as it was slowly overtaken by far-left radicals in the past 5 years or so who are more interested in political activism than they ever were about the hobby in question. A classic case of not gatekeeping hard enough. So yeah, I finally gave up and left that place for good. It's not even worth fighting for anymore.

I'm mostly just using Discord and 4chan these days, but forums have their uses too, so I figured I'd come back here and give it a try. It's not as active as the last forum I was on, but not having to deal with anywhere near as many braindead takes makes that a worthwhile trade-off. It's nice to be amongst more like-minded people.

I'm into video games, anime, and VTubers. I also hate censorship. So yeah, this place seems to be a good fit for me.

I'm andrew. I found this site while searching for a supposed "uncensored" translation patch for fire emblem engage. I immediately fell in love with it seeing as how people here generally share my views and interests, especially in relation to the bullshit of the current internet status quo.

I like games. A lot. I'm planning to go into a career in video game development, and i usually fool around in unity or dolphin emulator making silly stuff for my friends. I'm exceptionally fond of RPGs of any kind, shin megami tensei in particular. I love any game that requires me to stop and think about what i'm doing, i've always adored strategizing. Im also a massive autist for dark souls games. With that being said, there's really no genre i'd say i outright dislike aside from triple AAA slop. Those are thinly veiled casinos to push degenerate garbage, not games.

As far as anime, i like a handful of stuff, azumanga daioh as you might have guessed. I like slice of life shit and shonen mainly. I haven't finished too many, aside from the bigger "entry level" stuff. Willing to go for any recommendations.

As a final note, i have ADHD, so if i act retarded, i apologize in advance.

Mordred Simp, I was on the Fedi but I decided to give this place a try, I enjoy it alot so far.

Enjoyer and Lover of Mordred Hence the name.

I enjoy gaming, both with TTRPGS and vidya, I'm interested in learning how to make vidya, I got a few ideas, planning to learn unity right now. Enjoy JRPGS, FPS, RTS. I'm a variety kinda guy.

I do love Emulation and emulation technology, I enjoy talking about emulators, and emulator devices and such. Copyright law is fake and gay and should be abolished.

Rather big Lolicon, Love me some CGDCT shows, Massive Lucky Star fan. Easily my favorite only one that could top it, would be a good Berserk Adaptation. I do like getting recommendations, I'll try anything but I got my favorite genres.

If I gotta talk views, I hate Censorship and All online politics, It's all fucking gay.

I personally love the PS1 and the way those games look and feel. It's probably my favorite console outside of the 360 or OG DS.

I should I have posted here first but better late than never.

I am someone who likes meidos that is about it. And am I on the fediverse? Maybe.

As for some of my favorites:

Anime: Fate/stay night UBW, love live, bocchi the rock, Nieskoi.

Gacha games, Blue Archive, Arknights, Fate/go, azur lane, girls frontline, princess connect re dive.

I kinda wish I could be a seiyuu at time I am aware that that would be pretty dificult to do and I am not sure it is worth it.

I also hate locallizers.

I like a bunch of things, nothing too weird (I think), and I was literally searching up stuff about VTubers until I ran into this website.
