Overrated animes?

As Phantom said. Anything from Shounen Jump tends to become overrated.

But taken from me I definitely agree with Naruto being overrated.

Dragon Ball Z/Super too, despite my mixed feelings over it.

And a few months later holy fuck the list of overated dogshit just keeps being adapted over and over again.

I'm too busy focusing on gaming these days to really focus on anime rn.

For me it's Naruto, I never had any insterest in that anime.
You miss miss-understand what means for something to be underrated/overrated. Just because you personally don't like something or just not interested in said thing doesn't mean it's underrated/overrated for example I personally don't like the Mona Lisa but that doesn't mean it's underrated/overrated.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
Watched all 10 episodes eventually but it didn't really hit me.
It was sad indeed - but the anime was 10 episodes, after all. Couldn't build much emotional connections with the characters.

Honestly, I'm really done with Toei stretching out episodes and overanimating the shit out of fight scenes. Like, you're never going to top Gear 5, you made sure of that. Just give it a rest.
Toei has been doing this half and half chapter adaptation since the controversy with Ennies Lobby which almost had One Piece pulled off the air because they caught up too quickly with Nico Robin and had to do flashbacks for a month.

Also i am surprised that there is criticism of the recent animation trend as it was far worse with Archipelago where it went to highly detailed animation and the animators kept dying where the scenes would look bad at points especially with Dressrosa with Law and Doflamingo where it was poorly animated not just in some frames but in just scenes alone.

Since Wanokuni the animation changed for the better. No longer are scenes slowing to a crawl where it is drawn out like a DBZ episode or a PowerPoint showing illustrations, it's fluid, it has a sense of style it looks like the number 1 ranked manga in WSJ for decades. Also it looks visually interesting to watch as a whole. In Egghead the Arc is being animated by Digimon staff and Precure as well. It makes sense for the Arc to look the way it does.

As for being mad about them extending scenes and being slower on adapting chapters. I would prefer them doing that than the Peirrot alternative of catching up so quick with Bleach that you need to make up arcs that sidetrack or skip key scenes or Naruto Shippuden where you are looking at the same flashbacks to where there is only 3 minutes of story in it you need to watch to get to the next episode because it has filler in it.
