ever since i started using minds instead of twitter my days have been a lot more chill and while yes i often feel a bit lost when new drama pops up it's still better this way since i don't have to deal with retards using words that no longer have any meaning
however it may be a problem at timse since most "fights" against censorship and things like that still happen on twitter

My quality of life increased at least several times over since I deactivated my twitter acc. The most it probably did was give me a headache every time I opened the app maybe, though not having a headache everyday sure as hell beats having one!

How is MInds, btw? I think I'm done w/ using the "mainstream" social networks personally, but it'll always be fun poking fun at the braindeads that live on twitter.

The main reason on why I'm keeping my Twitter account is literally because all the Japanese artists post their works there. Even if they post it somewhere else (like Pixiv), it takes weeks, if not a couple months for them to upload their content there, which kind of sucks.

As for Minds, I've been trying to get myself into it too. From what I've seen it's pretty worth it.

I do this so you don't have to. Most people seem to get mentally affected by those fights, while I have fun doing it :korone-smug:
Anyway, the best way to help without rotting your brain out if by supporting projects like this forum, as you are already doing.
oh yeah don't get me wrong making fun of the twitter schizos is fun and all but there's a limited amount of times you can do something without it feeling repetitive and/or tiring

I don't even find that appealing anymore because of how limited you are in doing so. Anything can get you banned, really.

The only reason I stay on twitter is to fish for clients and whore out my art. Most of my time is spent in Discord (and hopefully, some of that will be pushed on this forum) these days and it's really been improving my life.

It feels good not to deal with twitter Schizos.

A while ago I ended up digging up an old alt twitter account I made when I was younger and splitting my main account with it. Any account that was art stayed on my main and anything else (politics, personalities, satire, etc.) was put onto my "new" alt. It made it so much better but in the end I pretty much stopped using the non-art one altogether.

I still have my twitter account. Only because I need it to advertise my ebook titles that will be coming up in the fall hopefully. Depending on when all volume one of my works are done. They will be T and M rated. I also follow the news to see what's going on on twitter. Minds was a cool place. Until the censorship began. So Twitter and Minds are now turning into a disaster.

I deliberately nuked my twitter after the purge, the place was just dead as fuck after that and I wasn't enjoying it. I don't regret my decision and feel the better for it.

I got suspended from twitter and told to delete this very avatar. Curious that it happened after a completely unrelated argument.
Anyway, twitter is shit and I'm not going to bother with a service that will suspend me over petty bullshit and panders to a bunch of underage immature shitheads.

Social media could be very addicting like narcotics and curbing your use as much as possible, is very healthy to do.

I personally prefer forums or discord than so twitter these days.

I rarely use Twitter anymore, like at most one a week and/or less than 30 minutes per week. Nothing much there interests me, and I'm too lazy to read the notifications that pile up from Twitter recommending me random people and tweets that I mostly could care less for.
