As always, Total Localizer Death. When the Great AI Replacement happens to their jobs, they have no right to question why.
I talked about this a few days ago elsewhere, but from what I understand, the Korean script doesn't actually say "you" but rather "it" in reference to the gift.
Basically, the English script is more accurate to the original script than the Japanese script.

Seems like due to Censorship and bad Localization. Xenoblade Chronicles X DE has failed to sell 1 million copies. It's another Treehouse TMS situation all over again where both Japan and West do not buy because nobody liked the Censorship in the original.
Found some censorship in Harvest Moon: Magical Melody. This Elmer Fudd guy was changed from a hunter to an animal welfare activist.
The cutscene starts with you meeting a bunny who gets scared and runs away.
JP: Who are you? I almost shot you by accident.
JP: I'm Terry. I'm a hunter in these mountains.
JP: Capturing animals is like my job.
JP: People have to sacrifice many things in order to live.
Only this last line is the same in both languages.

I swear Marvelous is right up there with basically going all in on the Politically Correct Localizations.

How the FUCK do you mess up adding English subtitles to a line that is in English?
In defense of this particular case, I'd say that only people who are into VTubers would get it. I'd never be able to get the reference. The point here (even if it was a direct VT reference) was that she's not good at speaking English, and she really said it like this.
Really, I wouldn't go so far as to demonize the translation here - especially since it's one of those CR translations that are actually perfectly fine.

^ Koei Tecmo Survey time everyone. They are asking about Localization quality and they are asking about importance of Dubs or Subs, even if they wish to have LATAM Subs. I also sounded off and asked them to get rid of Type-1 and Type-2 on the character creation screen. More people need to spread the word and do the same. Also for my LATAM friends out there I did say yes for LATAM Subs.
