Censorship Resident Evil 4 VR Censorship Has Eliminated All “Sexist Dialogue”

Capcom has begun descending even farther down the route of catering to the woke crowd as the VR version of Resident Evil 4 has all flirtatious and “offensive dialogue” directed towards women removed, perhaps a predictable turn of events considering the conclusion of Resident Evil Village.

According to certain individuals, the developers noted that content related to “sexual harassment, sarcastic expressions, sexist conversations, and expressions that may be indirectly linked to them have been removed”, and that “These were not unavoidably removed as part of the translation or porting process but were done by Armature Studio at the request of OculusVR and with the approval of CAPCOM.”

The game was developed by Armature Studios and it is said only one developer from the original title, Masachika Kawata, had any involvement with the VR version, and the censorship was supposedly carried out at the request of Facebook, the owner of Oculus.

Exchanges between Leon and Hunnigan in radio transmissions were censored, as flirting is apparently now deemed inappropriate by the politically correct masses:

The memorable scene in the cabin before its siege where Luis makes a remark about Ashley’s “ballistics” was, of course, also heavily gutted (along with the original name of the achievement/trophy that referenced the scene):

Even small lines involving female corpses were removed, with this one in particular proving baffling:

A significant majority of the ending was removed, certain to have many confused at how Capcom thought players familiar with the original game wouldn’t notice (the post-credits scene with Hunnigan was removed entirely):

This censorship will probably not prove surprising to those familiar with the politically correct agenda of the Western games industry, the leaked Capcom presentation where employees were instructed about “inclusion and diversity” is clearly now coming into effect.

Even before the leak, the Resident Evil franchise was slowly becoming corrupted by the politics of the West, as the Resident Evil 3 remake’s art director explained “sex appeal was not the right direction” in terms of Jill’s design, with her classic outfit DLC not even permitting the heroine to wear something as harmless as a skirt.

At this rate, the “rumors” of beloved character Chris Redfield being gay might turn out true after all, or at least, will be implemented by Capcom to appease the small yet vocal group demanding it.

i don't know what they meant by that either, if i remember correctly, it was just ethan dying and rose growing up
Well. Regardless of that still a pretty dumb move by capcom to change dialogue and cutscenes because of "the times" or some other nonsense.

Now this may be a little farfetched but I think the reason capcom is doing this is because of the blizzard shitstorm and them removing "problematic" stuff from wow. They see what a "successfull" western dev is doing and copy it regardless of the reason of why theyre doing it or if its a good move in the first place.

Another example I can think of is the character design of re3. If I recall correctly it was around the time where a lot of "realistic" looking character design by western devs was coming out.
This is just a theory tho it could just as well just be capcom thinking that pandering to the woke is gonna help them

Even if that theory is correct, it's very curious that they rather BE SEEN as not being problematic (by removing allegedly problematic content), than having... you know... a decent work environment and not the hellhole that was Blizzard's.
