Localizer toiling has certainly exacerbated the controversy
The arcade mode line is 100% percent correct however various subtle tweaks help play into their narrative
Changes like modifying his pronouns in the encyclopedia dancing around any mention of him being male, and avoiding using any pronouns for bridget in his bio (strange because they love to aposematically list them) were absolutely malicious ideological alterations

Speaking is an entirely different skill similar to how sprinting and running a marathon requires you to train two different sets of muscles in different ways
They probably understand it well enough to earn their paycheck but there is a reason they complain about wages

something a lot of people (not saying you but a lot of people in general) dont seem to understand is that id say around 95% of the time gambs is playing a character and just being a living shit post for entertainment value

That's not to say he is wrong or this devalues what he is saying. but you have to take him with that in the back of your mind. everything he does is often told in this level of hyperbole you have to peel back to get to the real meat and potatoes behind what he is saying, and considering there has been a lot of debate and optics cucking over on Twitter the last few weeks, I think A LOT of people over there have been so fucken brain rotted they legit can not even tell when something is clearly meant to be a shit post

It is interesting how localizers never suggest what the translation should be or if they do they post a bullshit wall of text to get the knowledgeable to tune out and fool the laymans
It would quickly show how much of frauds they are

There's also a mistranslation in MGS 2 when Revolver Ocelote confronts fortune and he shows a device that replicates her powers, he says "There's no such things as miracles or
the supernatural-only cutting edge technology".

That line makes no sense cuz Metal Gear had no problem with adding supernatural elements in the other games (except 4). Turns out it was a mistranslation,
what he actually said was closer to "Thanks to cutting edge technology anyone can perform supernatural acts."

MGS1 and 2 both had issues with handsy translators
Most know that Kojima was displeased with the artistic liberties that Jeremy Blaustein took with MGS1 that kojima had the script retranslated for twin snakes
The MGS2 translator Agness Kaku is a nutjob in addition to being up her own ass

There is a little misunderstanding around this article. This website was hit with a DMCA from konami and some people use it as an example of Kojima having a fragile ego and attempting to silence dissent
you are welcome to think of what you will of kojima (I personally think that his skill is overrated and misattributed as I think his co writer and director Tomokazu Fukushima pulled more than his fair share of weight as evidenced by the severe drop in quality after MGS3 when he left) but this is incorrect
You can see in the article that kaku released translation files for ghost babel and MGS2 and the website in question posted them for download and konami wasnt pleased with this

I don't think anyone here archived him exposing sekai project for gobbling up a lot of IPs without committing to their localization in order to inflate the value of the company because it's failing

as well as all the shit he posted about Neko nyan

Gambs was already being stalked by some of those nut job localizer/translator or some weird ass fans of them. He deleted certain articles on Reddit that summed up the bad localization of Meru and that of the Muramasa game by JAST USA.

I tried asking him if he still had copies or links for the archive, but it seems there are none, or at least none I could find.

The censorship is getting worse. If you bring up certain factual argument on the alteration of Samurai Maiden translation, the forum will censor you right away.
