From what I remember this was due to the fact when FFXV was releasing they wanted to go for the Global Audience so they had to tone down the references to death and skulls that you would see in the game. But this was more than likely an internal decision and once it did really well they went in with the Ethics Committee with Sony. The Ethics Committee being axed earlier this year and now SBI being gone does bode well but we do need to see how this goes in a year and a half. Strongest feeling on my end is SBI was Forespoken, Ethics Committee and Outsourcing was FF7 Rebirth, and also Dragon's Quest Remaster.

Yeah versus 13 was actually apparently meant to be like the sopranos but jrpg style and pretty dark and edgy with lot of the grim reaper shit in it as well too. Nomura still to this day is never going to be over it it was his ultimate wet dream even more so than twewy.

Square has always had thsi long history of finacial issues and resource and communication misamagnement and ocd focus on all the wrong things like their ocd focus of triple a games made them lose soo much money and not focusing on bringing back their older ips too costed them alot lol. I needed to re-reply but from what I have heard the webpage is down on the Ethics Committee and it's a cached website currently. But we will need to see what happens still on the next slate of games.

I mean to be fair if they do have an internal ethics department as toxic as SBI and masquerading as a bridge department. All Square enix games will continue to be red flags and they'll just go broke. So bring it on internal DEI/Bridge department square can keep bleeding money until dei/bridge ethics department or square is no more.

They've scrubbed their entire website that included any mentions of the companies they worked for (archive). This discovery comes after recent talks and rumours that woke/Marxist propaganda in games will continue to be forced in, just not advertised. Which, if I had to guess, means Square-Enix is probably still working with those cunts.

They see (company) fires their "diversity staff/consultants" and think they won something when in reality that staff made a bunch of policies that are now permanent. The entire intention of these consultants are to change how the company itself works. Until the policies themselves are completely gutted from society, the fight continues.
