It is baffling to me how SJWs ever got drawn to Persona to begin with. They are always complaining about it being every kind of -phobic yet you see them with Persona avatars all the time.
We already know none of those fags have actually played any persona game, and if they have, it was only for a short time. We see posts all the time where they're confused or outright deny events that happen in the games. It's just a case of they like an aesthetic, but they can't be assed to ever partake in the products the aesthetic comes from.
It is funny though when one of them does actually play and finish a title, because we get a 50 post thread about how wrong and evil Atlus is. It's always funny when they find out they have more in common with the main antagonists than any of the protags.

No you both are actually kind of wrong. Thing is, they are attracted to the rebellious kind of nature of Persona, So those types see themselves as those kind of "rebels" not like everyone else. All games deal with societal issue of Japan in some form or another. P2, societal influence on the world around you. P3, brain dead sailing through life, with no hope for the future. P4 perception of who you are and acceptance. P5 injustice from very small one guy in a school up to a nationwide corruption and injustice.
But problem is, rebel nature of persona, is surface level of reading of its themes, when you look deeper into it, its not the "right" kind of rebel those types want.
Naoto and Kanji is the clearest example of this.
Point in game for Kanji is that he is "rebel" for while being big doood, he is into girlish stuff and kind of nice dude.... No he isn't gay. But he has to be because if he isn't gay he is not the right kind of rebel those types are expecting him to be.
Naoto, is even more obvious, no she is not trans. Fuck off. She is literary stating straight to face what her arc point is. But those types expect that the point will be about transfhood.

Seriously. They're constantly complaining yet they never think of just fucking off and looking for something else. It's clear that they don't want Atlus to make good games anymore. I used to look forward to Persona 6 but after everything that happened, how they caved in with Persona 5 Royal and Catherine? I think I'm good. I wish they, along with every other company, would just go back to making games for the Japanese, not giving a fuck about the "global market". That way even if the localization shits everything up at least the source material is safe. But it's probably too late for that now.
The best we can do is just boycott every single localization and hope they give up on the western market.
Yeah, already on that. Been over half a year now since I last bought a game. Still, way too many drones that will keep buying them regardless. Some don't know, some don't care and some are complete nutjobs that prefer the localized garbage. That's why I won't expect much. But at the very least there are still plenty of older titles I wanna get through at some point.
You should still buy games, just not the localized versions. Redirect that money towards Japan instead of the west.
