well since nobody does a thread about the new season so I do it.
What do you tell about this season, what you plan to see.
some prediction, which do you think will be the best, what do you think is going to be a surprise.

I still can't make up my mind so I'll post an answer later with what I consider may be the most promising and what I may see.
*this season is full of isekai :senko-disgust:

I have no idea how to insert the image from an external source so I leave the link here.

As my backlog is already unreasonably long at the moment, I haven't fully evaluated the season and determined all I'd like to watch, but there are two standouts I wish to touch upon:

Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon S

After over four years (nearly two since the arson), we're finally getting a sequel!

To say that I have been very excited about "S" would be a massive understatement. I am a huge fan of this series, and it was partly responsible for reinvigorating my interest in anime back when the first adaptation aired. It has basically everything I like in a slice-of-life anime in addition to well-executed visuals and voice acting, so I anticipate this new run is going to be much of the same yet with some spicey additions (particularly with Iruru!)

Similarly, Kyoto Animation is one of my favorite studios of All Time, and the (hopeful) success of this series is going to be critical for them as it is their first full-length release since the arson attack back in 2019. I am cautiously optimistic that it will in many ways be a return to form, but I can't help but worry that they'll never be the same. You can't easily, and in many cases can't at all, replace the talent and resources they lost back then.

Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!
Oh yeah, there's also the fact that the indomitable, unbeatable, insurmountable, Jahy-sama is finally getting well-earned adaptation, too! :nana-thumb:

As you all can probably tell, I am a huge fan of Jahy-sama and the series itself, so needless to say I am greatly looking forward to experiencing it in animated form. A lot of the manga's visuals and gags would lend themselves well to an animated representation, so I am really hoping the series is done justice!

Seeing that SILVER LINK. is animated the project also gives me high hopes, especially given their work on Prisma Illya, so I'm not to worried as far as visuals go. I expect it'll be a similar situation to Nagatoro where it's really going to depend on the performance of the primary voice actress. Jahy-sama has a very... distinct character, in my head, so I'm hoping the end result is at least somewhat close to my vision. I am certainly intrigued by the fact that Satania's voice actress will be performing as Jahy-sama, so she's already got the street cred for hanging the daiakuma role very well!

This season looks good!

definitely gonna watch:
Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken 2nd Season Part 2: After the great S1 P1 and spinoff last seasons im glad we get the next part this soon
Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon S: Really hyped since its one of my favorite slice of life
Mahouka Koukou no Yuutousei: Nice to see more of the series hope for a lot of lovey dovey moments between the siblings (yes you can quote me on that) (see the discussion)
Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!: Many memes and tanned loli what can you want more? Also looking forward to the ED sung by 3 Hololive member
Bokutachi no Remake: Looks similar to ReLIFE which i really liked

will check out:
Seirei Gensouki: Looks good altough i wish it would not be harem
Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki: will probably be the usual average isekai
Shinigami Bocchan to Kuro Maid: the animation is CGI meh but the premise sounds cute
Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi: one of the few seinen this season and studio is mappa with nice visuals
Peach Boy Riverside: Trailer looked interesting

After over four years (nearly two since the arson), we're finally getting a sequel!
holy shit it has already been that long :gura-pain:

Well since I get bored a lot and I have nothing better to do for now, I will update a little about what I think of each series and which ones I will see [I say that but I will probably end up watching almost all of them, of course I will also continue to watch the series that continue to come out from the last season and earlier]

*I don't use MAL, all my links will be to livechart which is where I got the chart image from
In anichart there are links to MAL, AniList as well as to the stream services to see the series so you just have to look for the respective link at the end and that's it.

First the ones that I will see coming out chapter by chapter [There are several reasons why I determine whether to see a series coming out or to wait, so do not give this too much importance, either way I will end up watching the interesting series sooner or later]:
  • Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken 2nd Season Part 2: of course, I have seen the series since was coming out the first season and I plan to continue watching it, since the story is not very complex I always see the series coming out [I usually do it with the isekai]
  • Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki: It seems like a pretty generic isekai, I don't expect much, although people often say that the novel is pretty good, but I don't trust people very much. I hope they are right and it ends up surprising me. No special reason to see it coming out, just as I don't expect much from it I don't feel like watching 12 episodes in a row
  • Seirei Gensouki: the same as above, I don't expect much so I'll see it coming out because I don't want to see 12 chapters in a row [I hope less than the previous one, although at least it has nice lolis]
  • Mahouka Koukou no Yuutousei: obviously I will continue with this series, after thinking about it a bit and talking in the thread about this series I decided to watch it coming out.
  • 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatte Iru 2nd Season: It is not a series that they recommend but at least it had a tendency to improve, I want to see if it really continues to improve with this 2nd season.
  • Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu: well, another generic isekai it seems, at least the trailers looked fun so hopefully it will surprise me [I'm actually wondering whether to see it coming out or wait for to finish]
  • Deatte 5-byou de Battle: It looks like a boring series, I'll start to see it coming out also to see how it is.
  • Meikyuu Black Company: uff another isekai, this one seems fun at least, I'll start to see it come out too, to see if it's worth it.
  • Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi: This looks pretty promising, I'll see it coming out so as not to be left behind and then take some unnecessary spoiler, because it looks like it's going to be quite popular.
mmmh I think that's all I'll add to my "seeing" list for now. Almost all are the least interesting
Of course I am not going to miss the series that will be second season and the like that I have been waiting for a long time, but I will wait a little longer until them are complete. Those will have the highest priority to watch as soon as are finished. I just don't like to see them chapter by chapter.
And this is all there is to second seasons I think, Hamefura I have not seen the first season but I plan to see it when finishes the second, all.

These that I am going to put now are the ones that I think are the most interesting of the season. These are unlikely to see them coming out, probably wait for them to finish and prioritize as soon as finished.
  1. Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru.: I am very interested in this series, it is a style that I really like and I expect a lot from it. It will probably be the first series that I watch when I finish with the previous three and I am free to start watching the series of the season.
  2. Kanojo mo Kanojo: this expectations are a bit personal, I really like the other two adaptations that I have seen of this mangaka [Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to The Animation and Aho Girl] and I don't know, but the plot of this one seems funny, although the trailers don't seem very interesting. I hope it doesn't disappoint me and makes me laugh a lot.
  3. Bokutachi no Remake: I love Feel.'s jobs and I know they are very good at these types of stories, so I expect a lot from this series, the series is quite similar to ReLIFE as @DarkMahesvara already said and this was a series that I really liked.
  4. Peach Boy Riverside: The truth is that the trailers look super interesting and I think it could end up being a good series, I hope.
  5. Vanitas no Carte: probably one of the most popular series of the season and with good reason [it was even trending on twitter the day the first episode came out] but this series has all the conditions to succeed and I hope a lot, just for its staff and mangaka and especially Kaijura is already a series that I cannot miss for anything.
  6. Sonny Boy: I do not even understand but this looks super interesting.
  7. Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi
  8. Kaizoku Oujo: Well ... the trailer also looks interesting, although I have some doubts.
I think that up to here is fine, the rest I will see after finishing all the previous ones and if I feel like it, although if someone recommends some then I may consider it and give them some time.... well I say that but I will probably end up seeing almost all of them over time.

*this was longer than i expected, I hope that is everything in order when I publish it. :senko-disgust:

Meikyuu Black company is highly recommended, especially if you're a fan of Konosuba or Sentoin Rakugo. It's the same formula!

The Later part of your message recommending all of that, i agree with almost all of it,,,,,besides Kanojo mo Kanojo. The Humor is great and all but jesus christ it gets so stupendously dragged out sometimes due to the straightforwardness of the MC. It's rather painful to watch at times even lmao.

Kaizoku Oujo is really odd to me due to where it's coming from and whose producing it but for the most part, the animation is amazing and the story is strong so far as i can tell so i have really high hopes from this.

Sonny Boy is amazing. It feels like a letter written to appeal to the imagination of a teenager's young and confused mind. I don't understand all of it but what i do understand and what i do witness in it is sooooo good. It all feels...unique. And special.

Not gonna say much more cuz i just was gonna reply to this message seeing all the effort that went into it xD

Well, as I said, these are quite personal expectations, I liked the first episode, but I haven't continued watching it, I'm going to wait until it's complete.

after seeing a little of the series I have begun to think that despite how brilliant it looks at first glance it may end up being a disappointing series, I hope I'm wrong. Also wait until it is complete.

mmmh I'm hearing more and more good things about this series, I hope it's good. Although we don't understand anything, this is definitely not a series to watch episode by episode, very complex and very suspenseful.
ot gonna say much more cuz i just was gonna reply to this message seeing all the effort that went into it xD
thank you :ro-excited:
