With some major vtuber organizations like Hololive, Vshojo, Nijisanji and Phase Connect starting to feel like they are overmanned with vtubers. Some major ex-corpo vtubers of those organizations decided to go independent and became large independent Vtubers streaming on Youtube with a majority of them choosing blonde vtuber models and thus this thread was born because of it.

Title of thread is subject to change because we have no idea if the exodus from hololive will continue with the chances they don't choose a blonde vtuber model or they form a vtuber organization with a fanbase that would already be bigger than Vshojo.
Most of them still have contacts with their co-workers and some drama might occur such as vtubers from an organization complaining that their wallets feel lighter if the blondes decided to stream consistently. Basically we have a thread to discuss large non-corpo vtubers from youtube here.

Just remember: never develop any attachment towards a VTuber beyond a platonic one. Unlike with anime characters, where the seiyuu are reading off of a script, and the characters have nothing in common with their seiyuu except their voice, VTubers usually have many traits that the person playing them has. This is inevitable, seeing how many hours livestreams last, without a script to go off of. Many of the VTuber's life stories are inevitably just reciting the life story of the person playing them.

In other words, with VTubing, the characters have much more of the actor inserted into them than with anime characters. If the person playing a VTuber you have a crush on is secretly getting railed behind the scenes or is married, it's much more psychologically devastating than if a seiyuu playing your waifu in an anime show is doing the same thing.

I think this actually happened with Rushia from HoloLive. She got fired for collaborating with a male, and it was later discovered that the person playing her was married.

As to why these women with a rebellious nature chose blonde vtuber models is up in the air.

Blonde hair is seen as rebellious, delinquent, foreign, etc in Japanese culture (even though its not uncommon for anime/manga/etc characters to have blonde hair.) The stigma has kinda died down over the years but you'll still get nailed by dress codes in government/school institutions for it. Not sure if that has something to do with it but I think its part of it.

On the flip side many of these VTubers are foreign and have been around blonde hair way more than your average Japanese person, which may make them gravitate towards it more naturally.

Saba and Mori rrats.

• Mori and Saba have still not followed each other accounts even with their PL accounts.

• People crack a lot of jokes saying that Mori uses Bijou like a surrogate Gura to replace the OG.
• Mori has made alot of passive/aggressive statements to Gura in the past like “You are so important and big deal, the most subscribed Vtuber”

If Saba and Mori do genuinely hate each other and there is some kind of fight between them on where they want most of the hololive fanbase to go to. Then Saba will plan a collab with this specific Vtuber.

• Very good chance that Mori is pissed that some random vtuber that is newer than her, didn't need to join a Vtuber company, and as you work your ass off making songs this vtuber still has more Youtube subs than you for just doing shorts, Ouch.
• Mori is very close friends with Ironmouse and it is pretty obvious that mouse hates getting compared to Filian for biggest Twitch Vtuber for the center of attention.
• I dont see Trash Taste or specifically Cdawgva getting along with Filian like I think their personalities are on the complete opposite spectrum from each other.
• Mori and mouse give boomer energy, Filian gives off zoomer energy.

If Mori had a hate list for vtubers Saba would take 1st place and Filian 2nd place if the rrats are true. But the final nail in the coffin for me if Saba and Mori do genuinely hate each other is if a collab is set up between Saba and Filian.

Edit: I am also pretty sure Saba pissed off a lot of other large Vtubers on her return stream for saying she will have a booth at AX.
