Playing the jp version and checking the official english when I encounter localization worthy lines.
Won't play the english version, so I won't be able to find cringe added by the localization.

This game is old, but the official translation is recent.

With how bad localization has become, a game this old should not get an official translation

including the gay shit. even in the anime you know there stuff going on in the background.

that's what's fucking odd about it, one of the characters is involved with gay shit, and no one in the narrative cares or draws attention to it.

My guess is that it's either because Dorry&Guraa are shotas, or because they take advantage of him while he's drunk.
You can't have that kind of problematic content in the west.

funny thing in yee old japan such a thing wasn't uncommon when it came to the samurai.
some samurai had homosexual relationships with younger men, most of them where like 14-15 at the most when such relationship's started, maybe 13 in extreme cases.
but I guess we can add disrespecting Japanese history & culture to the list of sins these people have committed.
