VR Chat

Not a video game in the usual sense, but there are plenty of worlds that are made to be mini-games.

Who here dabbles in its virtual space? Got any fun stories or screenshots? Favorite avatars/worlds? Do you have a VR headset or just use desktop? Who'd be interested in dicking around in it from time to time?

I've got a few favorite avatars (like above, but it doesn't work anymore with the newer versions), though I don't think I have many photos of them. I've seen some absolute HORROR shows in avatars, but I've also seen some really interesting ones (and ones that force crash your application because faggots will faggot.
In regards to stories, at one point I had joined the LPD (Loli Police Department) and had some fun 'playing cops' though I don't think I can do humorous RP very well. There were some neat events, and randomly pulling your gun on someone is always a treat. And their avatars were cute. Spent the 2019 and 2020 New Years Eves in VR Chat as well, celebrating and drinking because fuck the real world. And THEN there was the time I learned motion sickness can apply in VR even if you don't feel it in real life. Fuck any kind of swinging ride in VR, hate that shit.

Unfortunately, I haven't gotten the opportunity to as thoroughly experience VRChat as many others due to the lack of a headset, but I have notched few enjoyable memories on my belt. Be it climbing skyscrapers as Kanna or enjoying a bootleg date with my friend as Aoba from New Game! or simply dabbing with random strangers, this game is just perfect for having a good time doing the most random, inconsequential shit.

This sight will never get old.

i have so many screenshots of my adventures in vrchat, i used to go on with some friends but now i just go on to explore alone. i recently spent the 2021 new years at my friends place and we hopped into vr to see our friend who could not make it. i got so fucked up and my friend was fuckin with me when i had the headset on.

I don't have that many screenshots or anything cool to post, but my favourite thing in VR Chat is to find the cool virtual market servers.

They take IRL shops/mall venues and put them into VR, while keeping them really fancy and detailed too. It's always fun to try out the interactive ones.

I'd love to try VRChat out with others but honestly when it comes to making models for it it's a hassle. Especially when applying physics for shit like trenchoats.

I want to try it too. But my mind is .exe not working when it comes to making the models or converting the MMD models to one. I have said models, but will likely try to find commissioners that can do the work. As well as save up money for an HTC Vive.

There's simple rigging stuff like Mixamo that's super basic as fuck but works if you're only working with obj stuff or don't have the tools to rip rigged models from the game.
