If all you can say is "no u"
Not really, you just can't accept what we saying to you because you are overemotionally invested. Or simply put butthurt.

photography cannot replace fucking painting because they're not even the same fucking thing, you dumb ape.
Portraits. How many times do we need to repeat this. PORTRAITS. Photography did not stop the portrait art from existing. But whatever, we all downies here, except you are the galaxy brain individual, beyound our comprehansion.
Yes, I believe extreme automation is bad, it's the worst thing for machines to monopolize entire industries because people then become even more replaceable, and unlike you, I don't think that we are the chosen ones.
"You are a farmer scared of tractors." and "Yes, progress in industrialization, automation and farming, made millions of people forced to adapt and improve themselves to compete against ever rising pressure of competition, which caused scientific and societal revolution of 20th century. Oh shucks, if only we stayed ignorant!" Same with art, skill cealing will rise, and good artists will adapt, everyone else... Bitch whine cry and call everyone else stupid.

If all you can say is "no u", maybe you should indeed kill yourself. I've already told you, there's a difference between the entertainment industry and other industries like agriculture and food processing, their goals are completely different and one of them relies on human emotion. These aren't pertinent examples, downie.

No, you did not provide examples because they're not even pertinent, photography cannot replace fucking painting because they're not even the same fucking thing, you dumb ape.
Why can't professions related to entertainment adapt? Because again, there's no way for them to adapt. It's not even difficult to understand, but you keep on ignoring that point, it's already a fact that several jobs have been misplaced because of automation and are only alive because of laws, not because automation could not get rid of them.

Yes, I believe extreme automation is bad, it's the worst thing for machines to monopolize entire industries because people then become even more replaceable, and unlike you, I don't think that we are the chosen ones.
Fast food cannot replace home cooked or diner prepared meals and you're a sperging faggot. Calm the fuck down you absolute goddamn Ritalin entity.

There is a way for them to adapt but many choose not to. You would be sperging about the death of radio when TV was introduced then the death of TV when streaming became the norm then the death of streaming when people return to piracy, or the death of horses when the automobile was introduced then the death of taxis when uber was introduced then the death of uber when self driving cars are the norm.

Technology advances, you either adapt or be replaced, this happen all throughout history, do you expect every single job that ever existed to keep existing even if it has been succeeded by something superior?

Why, yes, I'm glad we have cars and no longer need horses, I don't give a shit about animals.
I'm also glad soon the cars will drive themselves and the need for public transportation will cease because I have extreme anxiety whenever I'm forced to use it.
I enjoy living in the 21st century with all the technological improvements it has instead of being in some rural shithole having to do manual labor cause as a retard, I wouldn't cope with it and I'm not sorry about that.

:kekw: Ok, so you don't have an argument.
Portraits. How many times do we need to repeat this. PORTRAITS. Photography did not stop the portrait art from existing. But whatever, we all downies here, except you are the galaxy brain individual, beyound our comprehansion.
Again, this example is retarded, you dumb ape. Portraits and sceneries have not been spared from the rise of photography, but they still exist because photography does not entirely fit every niche for portrait and sceneries, unlike the AI that can fit those niches now.
:retard: "People will just adapt when what they're fighting against is unbeatable"

You think it's ok for people to be completely displaced by machines, you deserve to be tortured and killed, that's all I have to say.
Fast food cannot replace home cooked or diner prepared meals and you're a sperging faggot. Calm the fuck down you absolute goddamn Ritalin entity.
It can't do so right now because it degraded, but there was a time when that fast food was just the patty you had at home, made at McDonalds, it even cost less. The AI does not degrade with time, it gets better, beating the shit out of your home made cooking, with already great results right now. Completely unrelated though, software evolves faster than any Micky Dee's.

Also, you calling anyone a sperg is surreal. You masturbate yourself to sleep with how much you involve yourself in retarded drama and seek out validation from people that aren't even involved or even care about your bullshit.
You're still having problems wrapping your smooth peanut of a brain around this issue.
I'm not going to go into detail of each evolution since it doesn't matter, all of these examples HAD the ability to evolve, besides the fact that they're mediums, they're completely unrelated to the craft. The "craft" related to radio, TV, streaming, etc still exists and has been left unchanged by the change of the tools.
Artists though? Those aren't going to survive this AI.

The rest of your examples are again, related to industries like the food industry (logistics/transportation). These are necessities, if they can leave human hands, it's ok to an extent, although the problem remains that you all seem to want ALL of your power to leave your hands. But I understand, you're lazy retards, that's all you needed to say.
I enjoy living in the 21st century with all the technological improvements it has instead of being in some rural shithole having to do manual labor cause as a retard, I wouldn't cope with it and I'm not sorry about that.
You should also accept that maybe you shouldn't have a voice in the first place if this is your take on the matter. Let people that want to work work, you should just be a dead end where we can't see you writhe.

Considering I've actually spent time using the AI in question my voice is more relevant than someone sperging about "muh artists being replaced" when confronted with new technology. How about you sit this one out and let those that actually understand what AI art is discuss the ethics of it.

Artists though? Those aren't going to survive this AI.
:cirno-laugh:

The AI that struggles with basic anatomy is somehow going to "kill all the artists".
Next thing you know the second a kid picks up a paint brush, the AI will come out of the computer and murder that kid.

You don't care about all the other examples because you were born after it has become the norm whereas AI art is new, give this a few years and no one will give a shit because it'll become just another tool. You're only sperging because AI art is accessible for EVERYONE not just those that spend $5K on a RTX 4090 to run it.

All I hate I see is from untalented mediocre "artists" that chase clout or woke cultists that hate any female character that is actually feminine and attractive.

raver then continue with someone whose only response they have left is to tell people to kill themselves

ill instead post an example of how artists can incorporate AI into a more normal work production pipeline. abubu has had a grand old time playing around with AI and you can find more examples on his Twitter

I post this to show that. artists can adapt. and that this is just another tool to add to a toolbox. not a replacement for anything. artists have been getting tools like this ever since art moved to digital. CSP has 3D mannequins, all manner of bushes and other tools at the click of a button.

right now all this is just another tool like that. and going ballistic over some possible future where all art will be AI only is just silly

there are plenty of rational and reasonable criticisms and issues around this tool. but oddly enough noob here has perfectly illustrated the kinda thing I recall talking about at the start of the thread. people who clearly dont know jack about this tool and how it works and what it can do going off and emotionally reacting to something they dont understand and its people like that who are why we can't have these real convos we should be having about this and how to deal with it moving ford

I noticed a lot of Japanese people celebreating AI, for being able to introduce it into their artistic process, making art more available to avg person, and interested in what innovation AI can cause in game development. Wierd difference in perspective.

yea the difference between the English-speaking world and the Japanese reaction to this has been interesting

there are def Japanese critics of it but raver than autistic screeching a lot of it is more worrying about how this will affect searching for works on sites like pixiv and DLsite etc. worrying about the flood of low-effort AI art clogin the market

pixiv has already said they plan to add filters for it as posted before and I think other sites will follow. see unlike the west the Japanese have highlighted an issue and worked to solve in a mutually beneficial way it raver than tossing the baby out with the bath water

form most of the artists I've seen talk about it on the JP side most seem to be interested in it at the very least. raver then thinking it needs to be banned and destroyed. the outlook is alot more optimistic

Interesting, the tool certainly seems to have potential.
That said this particular picture looks off to me. Is a little uncanny I cant quite explain it

I've also used it and I can say you're wrong.
The AI that struggles with basic anatomy is somehow going to "kill all the artists".
 I've already answered this "point" of yours, the anatomical issues aren't even that grave if your prompts don't suck ass and you let it do its thing for a night, and that's now, when the technology is still in its infancy.
You don't care about all the other examples because you were born after it has become the norm whereas AI art is new, give this a few years and no one will give a shit because it'll become just another tool.
I don't "give a shit" about the other examples because they're bad examples, retard. I've been explaining that ever since we started, but your room temp iq can't seem to understand that shit.
I don't think i have strength to keep answering this ridiculous ape. He is not having a dialogue, he is monologuing.
Dialogue about what? You keep on repeating yourself despite being wrong, you should stop wasting my oxygen.
raver then continue with someone whose only response they have left is to tell people to kill themselves
???
No, that's in addition to everything else. You really need to kill yourself.
there are plenty of rational and reasonable criticisms and issues around this tool.
Like for example the fact that it'll displace artists with just a few keywords and mouse clicks.
people who clearly dont know jack about this tool
:kekw: Says the retard that argues out of willful ignorance, I still don't understand how you retarded apes think the AI will stop progressing, because that's the only way it won't harm artists even further than it already has.
and its people like that who are why we can't have these real convos we should be having about this and how to deal with it moving ford
The only conversation we should have is how to limit this garbage before it ruins an entire industry in a few years.

It's the shading isn't it?
If the shading was more simple it probably would look better.
yeah combined with the outline it kinda looks like it was photoshoped into a picture, also maybe its just me but the face looks a little strange too.

All that said all these comments are coming from someone who prefers more cartoony artstyles and knows very little about art:shinobu_kaka:

Hands and legs need to be fixed because the AI usually messes them up.
I prefer that as well, I say it's an uncanny mix between the complex shading you get on more "realistic" art like from sakamichan with anime that doesn't mix well.
The shading on the face matches the body no issue, it's more, these things don't go well together, thankfully this can be fixed though if you prompt to get anime instead of realism.

I can see a massive issue coming down the line with copyright
Who would own the art? The programmers who built the AI? The company? The AI itself? The person who selected the tags?
What is the rights on it? If you make an original character generated do you own that character? Or does the company/ai/programmers? If i generate a character using tags to make a character that looks almost indistinguishable from an existing character does that company own it? Can the AI get sued for plagarism then? And who do you sue?
We wont know for a while because tech progress significantly faster than legislation can

Blurring the copyright line is actually a good thing imo. Another good thing is that it is challenging Japan's censorship law, since people can just generate their own uncensored images using AI. I've seen a lot more doubt regarding that law from Japanese people since AI came into the picture.

Mad? Sounds mad. Here's some anal lube, you're gonna need it with how hard you're taking this whole deal up the ass you giant fucking sperg.

Average length of your responses in this thread has been 3500 characters.

Average length of mine has been at most a couple hundred.

You're literally sperging out. sperg.
