I'm also curious, and like you, I don't own a Switch and am not planning to seeing as a PC is all you need these days.

I think you're asking too quickly, seeing as some alteration might take some weeks or months to discover and the only faults
at start are translation ones by people who know some Japanese.

Most likely they pre-emptively censored the game, but that has become a common thing with nearly every Japanese dub, hence why
D3 games are now all toned down garbage games. They also never said they wouldn't censor and only said they would not uphold the same
standard for 3rd party games, but even that is questionable at certain times.

As far as I can tell, they did in fact change Juniper's sex to "They" in the English version despite the Japanese version outright stating she's female and every other version referring to her as female. So yeah, fuck that bullshit, yar har it.

Edit: Here's the French version giving her feminine pronouns.

Though it is funny how the English version gave a completely irrelevant character they pronouns. That feels more "offensive" than anything else.

Nah, I played the entire game in Japanese (including all her missions) and not once was her gender made clear. The problem is that due to the way the Japanese language works it is not unnatural at all to keep a character's gender ambiguous, but it is unnatural in English making it hard/impossible to translate properly. Though rather than use nu-pronouns they should have just referred to her by name like in Japanese or set her gender as female.
