Yeah, all those little factors (hitting just a little bit harder, being just slightly tankier, having just a tiny bit improved evasion and accuracy), it all really does add up, especially during the early-game, when a single additional level has a somewhat substantial impact on your stats.I didn't think one level could make such a difference, but so it goes.
This dude truly is absurdly tanky, and the one boss I *need* an optimal party for if I want to take him out without being overleveled. The Nopon Doll strategy was really interesting to hear about tho, I don't think I ever made use of that item, but I can see it preventing a total collapse once the tanks die.*MOEBIUS (B)ASTARD
Oh yeah, that has definitely screwed me over too multiple timesuntil, with a third of His health gone, while trying to revive Taion, I accidentally sheathed my weapon, which empties your arts, so I got owned in short order.......I'll save you the rant on why reviving and sheathing taking the same button prompt is incredibly stupid. I know that there's an animation for reviving that telegraphs what you're doing, but in the heat of the moment against this Fucker it's really hard to tell.
Now, since I have Xenoblade 3 on the brain, something I wanted to mention was a detail I haven't seen anyone else really mention: the Ouroboros Boys all have dicks. Seriously. I was checking out Noah's Ouroboros form and just happened to notice a part that... "stuck out" (please shoot me). Personally, I love this detail. With the artificial constructs of Communism, feminism, and faggotry waging war on the male body, and Masculinity as a whole, it's a nice reminder that, yes, Men have dicks, and no, that is not to be DISPARAGED, you spoiled fruitcakes! Masculinity is to be CELEBRATED! I love Xenoblade's subtle details like this. They always add so much more to the world, and setting.
I think that's something of a Japanese thing in general (or maybe hiding away genitals of even animals and monsters is a specifically Western thing, I dunno), because there's a big difference in how manga, anime and Japanese vidya will depict animals VS Western media designs of cartoon or CGI animals - hell, I watched the latest Superman movie with my female cousin a few days ago, and she initially thought that Krypto was female because he didn't have dangalang. The Narnia movies are an older example (though I can understand how designing a dick for Lion Jesus would feel kinda awkward).
