Code Bullet - Guy writing AI's for games like Tetris or Jump King. Not too heavy on the coding aspect, which makes it very easy for non-coders to enjoy as well

desertorium - Mostly known for his videos about the stock market known as /VT/. It's not one of these Robot-Voice greentext/reddit channels. The guy puts some effort into it. I hope he branches out to some more boards.

Food4Dogs - A nice old lady from NZ that likes games like JRPGs with her favorite being Atelier Ayesha. Very comfortable content that is a stark contrast to all those nerds that feel like they need to shout 24/7.

hochelaga - Videos about various religious topics. You probably had one of his videos recommended to you before: "Why Bible Accurate Angels Are So Creepy"

Jokeypokey - Currently does a series about playing Minecraft starting from 1 block of bedrock and nothing else. I really enjoy the process, but not sure if I stay subbed after that series ends though.

Kane Pixels - The "I can't believe a 16 year old made this" Backrooms videos. Honestly some of the best backrooms interpretation that isn't plagued by plots that are written by 6 year olds that just found out about the backrooms

minusT - 3D Touhou Animations. Sadly since it's one person they take forever to make (7 finished ones over 9 years)

OneShortEye - Speedrun videos about old PC adventures like Monkey Island or Kings Quest.

PSP HDC - The name stands for PSP Homebrew Developer Conference. Started in 2020 it's a little self organized conference about some developments in the PSP homebrew scene. I'm glad it's alive since I might want to jump in as well at some point.

reccollect - Seriously underrated channel. His content could best be described as mini-reviews about everything of one thing. Examples: I Watched Every Best Picture Winner, I Listened To All 415 Buckethead Albums, I Beat All 40 Call of Duty Campaigns on Veteran. Honestly some of my favorite content I've watched recently.

Storymode - Mark Zuckerberg and his co-hosts The Queen or Jeff Bezos read game plot summaries and throw some jokes in. Very low effort content that is still enjoyable. (It's one of Internet Historians channels)

Studson Studio - Guy makes models mostly out of trash. Such as his video of making Howl's Moving Castle. The appeal for me is the same as these restoration videos.

TotallyPointlessTV - Started out as video essays about martial arts, but now does them about movies and video games. Really enjoyed the Silent Hill ones.

Vince Vintage - Documentary style videos about topics such as a Wikipedia Mod that likes Tits or Truck Nuts.

Weird Old Tech - Name says it all. Mostly looks at like old PDAs and stuff. I was impressed with his quality however. When I subbed he had like 69 subs (now 111). I've seen channels with 5 digit subs that had much worse content / quality.

WickedWiz - Most recently started a series about "what went wrong with game X" mostly about early access games. It's a well structured look into these dumpster fires.

Techmoan - The guy reviews tech from the older laser disc era to the new ones like modern boomboxes, which seem to be all garbage in Europe if you're looking for a retro one.

I always have this guy in my recommended, but every time I watch one of his vids I just don't feel satisfied and think I would've much rather watched something else.

I really like Scott the Woz too.
Scott is great. IMO he has that early AVGN type of feel but modernized. One of the few people I'd think are actually the same in RL as in their vids.
I can highly recommend his 2nd channel Scott's Stash where he does more long form talks about some topics like his WiiU collection or why he bought 3 red Wiis.

I actually found him very useful for his review of the GPO boombox, that seemed to be nothing more than overpriced garbage. He is just very methodical, while a lot of YouTubers are over the top. I personally like people with tech that keep to the point and don't push in any stupid comment that add no value towards the topic at hand.

I also personally would rather see a person from the older era review older electronics as a nostalgia factor.

I've recently come to learn of Saintmillion. He makes content about the Star Wars EU (before the Disney times).

If you want to learn about or revisit the olden days when saying you were a fan of star wars didn't make you a soy boy I'd check him out.

My contribution.
I'm a very boring person, I have a desire to learn more and expand my knowledge, I don't really go on youtube to be entertained.

America Uncovered, China Uncensored, China Unscripted and their new channel Gamers Unbeaten. Yes, it's not without some biases, but for the most part, neutral reporting of events in china, the US and the western world. Keeping up with news in china is for me, very important, the west may be censoring Japanese entertainment but china is next in line.

New Discourses, very helpful in explaining and breaking down wokeness the ideology.

Haven't seen anyone mention TheGamingBritShow on here yet. Many years ago he reviewed Battle Construction Vehicles and made a jab about feminists complaining about the lack of diversity in media. He hasn't done anything like that ever since, but overall I've been obsessed with his videos on DMC, RE and God of Soy. He's one of the reasons I became an avid action games fan in the first place.

Just yesterday remembered Weird Paul. A true YT OG. Vlogger, Musician, Historian. This guy pretty much documented his entire life even if it isn't uploaded in any ordered fashion. Still if I think what YT was meant to be then this is the channel that I think about.

Found this guy (JimmyTheGiant) randomly, and really been enjoying his videos.
He talks a lot about the X-Games/Extreme Sports type sub-cultures.
I was never interested in them before but honestly he just manages to make me interested in it.

Should definitely check it out, even if it's just background noise for you

Watched IH's "Man in Cave" video yesterday (it's really good, and I was never this tense watching a YT video) and remembered Caveman Hikes. I find it hard to watch more than 1 or 2 vids, because just seeing how tight some of those holes are exhausts me.

100% Hochelaga, dude's content is incredible, has lots of insight and his voice is relaxing.

Lavender Towne is also one, she draws pretty good and gives a lot of helpfull advice to artists.

Robert Marzullo is also pretty helpful to anyone who wants to be an artist and his art style is awesome.

Love2drawmanga is also pretty cool and helps a lot specially if you are starting to draw.

And look, tho I don't really agree or like MRAs, Mgtows and all these redpill shit and I don't personally agree or like this channels owner, Colltaine still a pretty good channel and shows lots of statistics, facts, reflections and opens some debates.

Amazing russian is a pretty good channel to learn russian grammar.

There's also some Brazilian channels that I do like to recommend, but most people here don't speak Portuguese so I will just end here lol.
