I was watching Lv1 Maou to One Room Yuusha, which was surprisingly good but every now and again you could tell whoever was doing the subs was taking some serious liberties with the dialogue. Like at one point a character used the word "thot" and it took me out because that guy definitely though he was appealing to the youth.

pqube's idea of getting games localized suggested by fans was a trojan horse for this shit.
PQube might have had some controversy in recent years, but it is surprising to hear they are still sticking to being more authentic to the Japanese script and surpassing the memespeak one. It's a rare thing nowadays. Hopefully there is more good news to come.
