In a rare instance of actually listening to your customers, D3Publisher went back to the English text for Samurai Maiden and re-translated the game to be more accurate.

The affected texts can be found at the prologue, the end of Chapter 1, the start of Chapter 12 and Iyo's Bubble Pocket #5 (end).

Are the panty shots and camera uncensored?

No, not yet. You'll still need the JKSFix mod: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1952250/discussions/0/3718314778560404192/

That being said - if we keep pushing the issue, there's now a non-zero chance they'll listen to us again and turn the negative Steam reviews into positive ones. For me, this is a white pill and a step in the right direction.

was saying this in the other thread but this is a nice fat W to end off the year

you love to see it. sure it's not everything yet but they could have easily just not given a fuck and left everything up to the mod

this is also a good hopeiom pill to remind people this is why you need to be vocal about these things. as was proven with this and the seven seas shit earlier in the year if enough of us lend our voice to the right people we can in fact cause the change we want to see

I'm still wondering to what extent it was fixed. Seeing as there were also some reviews pointing out more flaws in translation, and now I'm kinda curious if they just fixed those that stood out like the woke garbage or all of it. Then there is the matter of the censorship... Which I doubt will be fixed because of STEAM own Draconian laws.

Owners of the game - through Steam or otherwise - will have to go through the dialogue line by line to make sure. I'm leaning toward it being fine, now that they fixed the egregious examples.

Steam's biggest problem is they leave submissions entirely up to whoever's working on that day (and her mood). If there's any sort of oversight, they're real bastards about it.
