The Dubs were made in the times of America being a "Christian Nation" and full of religious types, in the 90's and 00's. What makes it funny is we circled back with Politically Correct Progressives with 10's to today with gendered language, fanservice and the anti-Manji symbol. So it's not that things have been getting better, it's just things have changed to the opposite end sadly. Uncensored is the true goal of all of this by the end of the day.

Even the Manga author of Pokemon joked about how fanservice scenes in Pokemon were altered and nudity was not even allowed until recently where they had the uncut versions reissued.
