I have mixed feelings about this. I think he could've handled it in a more mature manner. I would've simply let her know how stupid her take is by highlighting the obvious difference between reality and surreal artwork. I understand his frustration though. I condone making bigoted cunts like this feel unwelcome/uncomfortable in the anime community so I believe his actions hold some merit in that regard.
