I'll be honest, when I first heard the news, it took a moment for me to remember what Feminist Frequency was. And it turns out much of the reactions were of the same vein. Anita's YouTube channel has 213K subs and yet many of her videos have sub-1,000 view counts.
I also wonder if Elon Musk' acquisition of Twitter hastened the demise since (1) the platform no longer gave preferential treatment to people of Anita's political persuasion and (2) the new Twitter team cracked down on bots, which Anita likely depended on to stay in the limelight.
