The image. This happened 3 months ago with the first Rebirth trailer but only now did I notice it

They had the balls before just like with the flashback of cowgirl Tifa in FF7Remake but sometime around the development/release of Crisis Core Reunion some combination of twitter/ESG/whatever faggot nonsense sapped away whatever balls they had left and put a belt on Yuffie even though it never was about getting a peek of her panties which never happens in any canon.

To those who love saying "IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL" then WHY THE FUCK WERE YOU DEMANDING IT BE CENSORED?!

Normally I can tolerate gay shit in my media but not if I'm going to keep losing female skin exposure at the same time. Costa del sol is in Rebirth, doubt we'll get the girls in bikinis. Tifa was already censored with the shorts + sports bra combo in FF7R, so honestly it's more likely they didn't think about it until later and thought "wait a second we need to censor more!".

I remember seeing black voids in a video instead of shorts not entirely sure (both are equally cancerous nu gaming "standards"). Its kinda telling that most people I have seen complaining about this censorship never mention the spats or black void though.

Tifa wears black tight shorts under the skirt. Aerith on the other hand got the black void treatment.
