One of the more talked about things currently, the Japanese Communist Party has been on a warpath against erotic content recently and is currently targeting one of the most popular manga magazines and how are they doing it? Using its official newspaper to direct its followers to snitch out these magazines to the United Nations :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Communist Party Red Flag creates a form for informing people of adult magazines found at convenience stores, ``Bring it to the United Nations and make it an issue'' Young Jump, Young King, Young Animal, etc. are targeted https:// togetter.com/li/2333767 Once the defense line is lowered, this is what happens Become. After all, you probably don't like it when women sell their looks.

Good reading on why the Japanese Communist Party is doing this Is here https://note.com/shiba_eri/n/nabe4915d4e7a?sub_rt=share_b

TL;DR: JCP successfully lobbied stores to remove adult magazines in 2018, and they caved. They have learned recently that stores have been restocking once more and they're back on the warpath and it seems they have expanded their sights not just on adult magazines but also weekly young magazines.

Few other tidbits

Akiko Kurabayashi, a member of the House of Councilors in charge of the Japan Communist Party's Gender Equality Committee, said on the 25th, ``The Japanese Communist Party is strongly advocating for more drastic prevention of AV damage, such as including a clause prohibiting actual sexual intercourse, I supported the bill in order to try to relieve the damage caused by AV. (Omitted) Actual sexual intercourse for a price violates the dignity of an individual, and such AV filming should be prohibited. There is an urgent need to develop legislation that directly regulates AV that involves sexual intercourse.''

Its not simply asking the followers to snitch to UN, that would be nothing. JCP affilited NPO group (among countless others) New Japan Women's Association would bring it to the UN. These are people in actual power involved in lawmaking decisions (new AV law, saitama park swimsuit, literally every japanese cancel culture trash in the past 5 years) not your average sheep. Well they did stop the questionnaire but it doesnt matter as long as these groups are in positions of power. Japan feminisnts have a lot of political power now and its looking like its going to be like Korea. Dont want to write essays, if you know you know. All it needs is for the other side (publishers, authors etc, politicians etc) to actually have balls which currently they have shown none. Like can you imagine? treating manga as "adult magazines" and banning them from stores? how retarded this sounds? Well japanese games are almost dead thanks to retarded sheep and manga/anime continue to face this kind of opposition, if it really happens hopefully it will a few more years and I will become senile and dry by then.

Japanese communist party seems to be unpopular though. It will have limited power.
A lot make this mistake of downplaying the JCP, it's got a lot of local and grassroots support and it's a lobbying powerhouse. The reason why Australia got into an anti-loli frenzy is due to Kazuko Ito a supporter of the JCP and member of the New Japan Women's Association led her NGO Human Rights Now! with UN Special consultative status to lobby it and it worked!

Unfortunately I am not in Japan to have the power of boycotting them. But yes, we should be careful. What I mean is this shit is unpopular with a lot of people.

Be glad, they can never really reach the full power they could ever got, since the leader of it got unalived decades ago.

Lot of the downplaying also comes from not knowing how these people work in these situations of censorship. An example of how it works (actually happened in new AV law or saitama prefecture park swimsuit you can look it up). These "NPO's first "bring" up problems with certain things, their power (as chairs of govt affiliated and funded npo's) make it so that their words actually have weight enough to make it an "issue". The issue is then "resolved" by having these exact same people as "experts" on a board and they then decide what to do and how to "resolve" said issues. Literal blatant conflict of interest but nobody bats an eye.

It doesnt matter who or what is popular during these instances because its the same people saying something is "wrong" and then actually deciding how to "resolve" it. And all of this is just in japan. These "human rights" group have even more power and pull overseas so much so that they dont even need to be on the expert stage of deciding, they just need to cry to some politcian and the politician will do the rest.

Lots of people say oh JCP, SDP, CDP, Reiwa etc etc arent popular and are not in power, but do they have to be in power to pass these laws? absolutely not example av law, saitama swimsuit. In fact the ones in power i.e. LDP also fucking funds these pieces of shit and are also responsible for this thanks to Komeito. Its always the same group of people Keiko Ota, Kazuko Ito, Kazuna Kanajiri etc etc with these anti anime/manga movements (uzaki chan, onsen musume, love live poster etc). Kazuna Kanajiri is a laughing stock online in japan, but that didnt stop him from appearing in the Vice anti anime/manga video as an "expert" or being in the "experts" board who decided on the new AV law did it?

Popularity and being the current government in power in the end has nothing to do with situations like these. Its all out in the open, not like some dox rabbithole that you have to go through to find out who and which groups are doing this. The media, 90% of the japanese diet, hell even audit boards to a big extent cover up for these organizations (akane kyoku/colabo issue). Colabo (same old "npo" with kazuko ito, keiko ota etc as chairs and lawyers) issue, for those who followed/follow it really opens your eyes to how these things work and what is happening in japan right now. Sad thing is that you'd have to have been following it from the start and know japanese to fully understand everything since even in japan its being covered up/false informationed by media and I highly doubt anyone will do a faithful translation of this shitshow in other languages.

And this is all just related to anime/manga, game developers has already bent the knee and are dead so no need to go there. Theres countless other examples but those have more to do with topic unrelated such as lgbt laws and immigration laws etc. They are being passed by the same way.

Good writeup. Kazuna Kanajiri is probably the most powerful of the bunch as the anti-anime organization PAPS they run seems to have its tendrils in a lot of parties. Last I checked they endorsed CDP and the swimsuit instance is a great example of how only 3 communist lawmakers can overblow an issue like swimsuits and bring in massive regulations surrounding it.

Moral busy bodies are the first to accuse others of what they themselves are guilty of. Behaviors of this kind range from mere individuals to large scale movements regardless of political association. All of politics about control, and it's just that some, such as the types shown here, are overt with their tactics while others are more subtle.
